Welcome to the 8th week of My
Sexy Saturday.
Everyone has their own idea
of sexy and readers of all kinds love to read what we offer. Being sexy and hot
doesn’t require us to take off all our clothes...or maybe it does.
Touch of his hand, a heart
stopping kiss or a slow, a great foot massage can be very exciting. How about
that hot tub in a cool summer evening or a lover’s thought on his mate or
mates. Thinking about your special someone can be sexy, no matter where they
are.
Sexy can be earth-shattering,
wall-banging in the most unlikely of places or it can be that slow sensual
wedding night as each of you learn just what your lover likes for the very
first time. Sexy can be that slow smile you give me across the room just to
remind me I’m yours.
It all depends upon your
perspective.
Come join us each Saturday as
we bring you, the reader, the best in sexy writing in
7 paragraphs or 7 sentences or 7 words.

This week I have chosen to give you a piece from 'Millie Reinvented'. The book is dear to my heart because August the male lead is such a darling and Millie the female lead gets a happy ending.
There's a back story to this book. The idea was sparked by a young woman who was in the antiques shop where I work, and
she was buying a little sculpture of two lovers kissing. She said she had to
have it because it was so nice to look at. Her husband didn’t even kiss her
anymore. She told me more too and it’s a sad story. I wrapped the item, and
stored the thoughts about her until the story burst out onto my laptop. It
draws on many stories I’ve heard about love gone wrong, and lonely people. I
come into contact with a huge number of people. People and emotions inspire me
to write. The complexity of life spurs me to write. I see emotions in people
around me all the time, and often they remain unspoken. I think we don’t share
ourselves enough, and are encouraged to hide our true selves.

August had called into the
supermarket on his way home and bought some supplies. He had also bought a very
large box of candy from the specialist deli next door. They were Swiss
chocolates, and he had them gift wrapped in pale-blue tissue with a rainbow-striped
ribbon tie. They were for Millie to say sorry to her for not calling, and he
would sign the note to go with them. After he had eaten a steak sandwich August
sat at his laptop. He would do one more thing to make that Peter appealing to
Millie.
He had found her home address via
the online phone directory listing Peter Pederson. There was only one in the
vicinity and August decided it must be Millie’s husband.
August booked a weekend in a Spa
resort for two, and ordered the booking brochure and confirmation to be
delivered to Millie’s address. The Spa resort was only a couple of hours drive
away and he knew about it because it was quite close to George and Michelle’s
place. There was the option of a message if the Spa weekend was a gift, so he
wrote one.
‘I want to make up for all the
lost time with the one I love’
It made him sick in the stomach
to send it, but he did.
Later staring out of his skylight
window as he lay in bed he thought about having kissed Millie that morning. He
thought about the way he had touched her through her clothes, and then he
remembered her telling him he made her feel weak, that would be with longing he
thought, because it was the same way he felt when he kissed her.
August didn’t want to split up a
marriage, it seemed wrong. It wasn’t the action of someone who was trying to be
a better person. If his friends found out, they would think less of him. He
thought less of himself for even considering it.He would avoid Millie he decided.
He would abandon the notion of fixing her loveless marriage and try to forget
her. That was what he should do.
He might have thought that as he
fell asleep, but he dreamed about Millie. He dreamed about kissing her at the
Christmas party and instead of dressing her and being sensible, he took all her
clothes off her, her shirt and skirt, so that she was left standing against him
in that pretty bra she had worn. He dreamed her underwear fell away as he put
his hand across her lower stomach, so that she was open to his fingers. Millie
told him she was his as he lowered her to the floor, and they made love to each
other. August’s dream was so real that when he woke up he felt a huge sense of
loss. Millie wasn’t his. She wasn’t by his side and he grieved for it.
Wow...what an interesting excerpt...makes me want to find out all about Millie and August.
