Welcome

Tell us
a little about yourselves
Lynn
Richards is actually the writing team of two best friends. We’ve been writing
for what seems like FOREVER. We love to read all types of romance, but decided
to focus our writing on erotica. Our stories range from spicy to oh-wow-that’s-really-hot.
All our heroes are alpha males – shifters, billionaires, ranchers, the man next
door. Our heroines are not the beautiful, perfect women of the world. Sometimes
they carry extra weight, think they’re a little on the plain side, but always,
always get their happily-ever-after. Having tried the traditional route to
publish, we decided to jump on the indie express and have been publishing
steadily for over a year now. We have lots, and lots of stories still to tell.
What
books have you brought along to tell us about today?
We love shifters and have written two
stories with paranormal elements – Beauty and the Wolf and Leader of the Pack.
They are standalone books, but we hope to have sequels for each sometime this
year. Maybe because we’ve worked in an office environment most of our lives, we
always love to read about handsome executive who, of course, fall in love with
their sassy secretaries. Bought, Branded and Bound is the story of Macy and
Logan.
BEAUTY AND THE WOLF
Beauty and the Wolf is your typical
office romance with a little twist…
Sophie Abbot was a voluptuous woman and
she was happy with her life. She had a good family, a job she enjoyed and one
crazy assed best friend. The one small blimp on her radar of happiness was the
incurable crush on her boss.
Jake Anderson’s life was on track. He
was CEO of his family’s business , dated willowy, long legged blondes and
enjoyed his womanizing ways. And oh, yeah, he had the hots for his secretary’s
best friend, who just also happened to be his mate. Oh, did he forget to
mention he was a wolf?
LEADER OF THE PACK
Special Agent Jared Stone is hot on the
trail of a killer vamp when his wolf comes across the scent of the woman he's
been waiting his whole life for - his mate. She's beautiful, feisty, curvy and
just what Jared has always desired. But Emily is also hunting the vampire and
nothing brings out an alpha male's dominant side faster than a threat to his
mate.
As they search for her best friend, deputy sheriff Emily Smith struggles to accept this unbelievable twist fate has thrown her. All while curbing an alpha wolf's overbearing tendencies. Because of her size, she's never thought of herself as someone who could set a male - or a wolf - on his ear. But that's exactly what she's done to Jared Stone.

BOUGHT,
BRANDED, AND BOUND
Macy Trent was
a chubby girl but that didn't mean she obeyed anybody's rules but her own. That
is, until her drop-dead gorgeous boss blackmailed her into submitting to his
will. She agrees to spend the weekend with Logan and obey his every command.
Twenty four
hours later…Oh my God what have I done?
That’s Macy
first thought upon waking and finding herself in Logan Quinn’s bed. As memories
of the night before – and her wanton behavior – come flooding back, Macy
realizes last night wasn’t her biggest regret, it was falling in love with her
drop dead gorgeous boss.
Logan’s curvy
assistant is sarcastic, willful, and deliberately disobedient and he’s had
enough of her attitude. He knows the only way to get her out of his system is
to make her submit. He also knows being a Dom is all about maintaining control.
So why does his curvy secretary make him want to break his every rule?
Are
you working on another book right now?
We’re working on another paranormal – A
Matter of Mating which we hope to have out by October. It is the beginning of a
four part series which features some very hot shifters.
Here’s a little taste:
All the women gasped, but no one came
forward to help her.
Not that she needed help. In fact, she
wished they would all leave the room. His body felt so incredibly hot. Her
first estimation of his height had been off. He stood well over six three –
without any help from his boots. He was dark skinned, dark haired, and dark
eyed. His features held a touch of Native American.
And muscle was everywhere. His neck,
his chest, those mouthwatering biceps. She glanced downward. His waist was
solid but she’d bet her week’s worth of tips there would be a six pack
underneath the black t-shirt. He had tree trunks for legs. She suddenly felt
like the dish in the china shop when the bull came to call – about to be broken
all to pieces.
“Who are you?” The question was asked
in a low, rumbling voice, almost a growl.
She’d been around enough men to know
one thing – never let them see the fear. Not that fear was what she was
feeling, more like heart pounding good old fashioned lust.
“Who the hell are you?” she countered.
He put one hand by her head and leaned
in. He didn’t crowd her, but he definitely let her know he was there. His other
hand brushed the hair from her face.
“Dominic.”
What
do you enjoy most about writing?
The ability to create whole new worlds and
make a happy ending for our characters. And really, who wouldn’t love making a
man do exactly what you tell him!
Plus, since there are two of us, it’s
really exciting to hand the story over the other one and then get to read what
they’ve written. It’s like a little short story all for yourself.
What
do you like the least?
The annoying, blinking curser that laughs
at you when you have nothing, absolutely nothing to write. And the editing.
Would
you like to see any of your books as movies?
Oh, yeah. And we don’t say that because they
are our stories. When will Hollywood or Hallmark get smart and start making more
movies for woman – based on the books women love to read – romances! Yeah,
block busters are great, but there’s so many wonderful stories out there that
would make great television movies. Hey Oprah, why don’t you start a Romance
Channel?
Can
you name any actors you would like to see as the lead characters in your book?
Can you say Tony (and/or Gibbs) from NCIS?
And to show our, cough, age, does anyone remember Joe Penny….sigh
What
things do you like to do to relax?
Read, read and read. Sleep, sleep, sleep. Watch
television and umm, do a little research (wink, wink)
Do you
have another job as well as writing?
Yes. One of us works as an admin assistant
and the other is a legal secretary. One of us got smart and got out the legal
profession.
If you
could have one super power in your existence, what would it be?
Does teleportation count as a superpower?
Can’t we just pick a super hero and share his? Because if so, I pick the new
superman. Back to the previous questions – he can play a lead character in any
of our books, any time he wants.
If
money were not an object, where would you most like to live?
We love where we live surrounded by
mountains, but, we’d like to live a little higher up on the mountain, where you
could only reach us by helicopter.
What
kind of car would you have if money was no object?
That’s tough. Can we pick two or three – a
Mustang convertible for spring and fall, a Hummer for winter and a Lexus for
summer for cool, comfortable traveling.
What’s
your favorite food?
Why are you limiting us to only one choice
for these questions!!! Ice cream and
fried chicken.
Favorite
color?
Red and blue
Can
you think of a song or piece of music that could be your theme tune?
Would you believe the soundtrack for
Transformers
Just answer these questions as quickly as
possible.
Chocolate or vanilla?-----
Chocolate
Dog or cat?----
Dog
The film or the book?-----
Book
Jeans or dress?
Jeans
Beach or Snow resort?
Snow
Heels or flats?
Flats
What
do you love best about yourself?
The fact that I can be alone and entertain
myself.
Ability to see my flaws, then saying screw
it, I am who I am.
What
do you like least?
Looks? What woman is ever truly satisfied
with her looks?
Do you
have anything to share with other authors that might be a help?
Write, write, write. And don’t be afraid to
publish what you have after you’ve polished it. Remember that’s what pen names
are for – in case your first attempt is not the shining gem you thought.
Reviews are good, sales are better.
Is
there anything you would like to say to your readers?
We love them! If we weren’t so chicken,
we’d quit our day jobs tomorrow because our readers have really supported us
this past year (and we’re really frugal). There’s nothing more fulfilling than
receiving an email from someone who says they could relate to a character in
your book.
Can
you share one of your favorite parts of one of the books?
FROM BOUGHT, BRANDED AND BOUND
Macy removed the pins from her hair and
let them drop to the floor. She knew the movement thrust her already large breasts
out even more. She’d always been self-conscious of her size. Her breasts, her
stomach, her thighs, her hips. Everywhere. The boys in high school had all
teased her about her size, yet every one of them had tried to cop a feel in the
hallway or behind the bleachers when no one else was around. Seeing her boss
watching her through the mirror, she wondered if this was any different.
Disgust and desire all mixed into one.
It is different, her mind whispered.
Because you want his touch.
Her hair cascaded down past her
shoulders, the long locks ending in the middle of her back. If she had any
vanity about her looks, it was her hair. The strands were thick and well cared
for and the deep brown color that bordered on black suited her. Her parents
were both of Italian descent and had bestowed upon her the light olive skin and
dark coloring.
“Bend forward.”
Logan wore that heavy, hot-lidded look
again and she felt a rush of moisture deep inside. Her mind flew in circles.
Yes, he’d seen her naked, but that was all. What he was asking now would take
this to a whole new level. It was the point of no return. Should she or
shouldn’t she? Would he fire her if she didn’t? She could leave right now and
never see him again. Or she could obey his every command. She willed herself
not to run. This was what she wanted. She had to control the fear.
And he wanted to control her.
He started to rise and she knew what he
would do if she didn’t obey. The belt rested at her feet and the thought of
getting spanked didn’t turn her off as much as it should have. She bent at the
waist, adjusting the width of her stance to keep from falling face first into
the mirrored closet door. The wider stance spread her legs in an enticing
manner but she knew he couldn’t see anything except a hint of her outer lips.
“Reach back and show me what’s mine to claim, Macy.”
