From Rescuing Cade
At the parking lot, Cade opened the
car door and Marissa slid past him to get in. She stopped, her face tilted to
his. Mesmerized by his nearness, desperation to kiss him fell like a stone in
her stomach.
The air between them wavered as he
bent to her and touched his mouth to hers.
Marissa took charge, her arms went up
around his neck, and she grasped handfuls of his hair to keep his head to hers
and linger in the kiss.
His soft gentle lips parted under
hers.
His sigh teased along her lips and she touched the
tip of her tongue to his.
