His breath teased her ear, and her nipples peaked against her T-shirt. She slowly moved her head until her mouth hovered a centimeter from his. She closed her eyes, captivated by his nearness. He kissed her then, softly. His lips explored hers, firm, then soft and moist. A simple touch of his tongue against her mouth sent her into a spiral of desire. Her whole body responded to the kiss. A rush of heated desire wet her pussy.

Sunday means #SexySnippets Tonight he'd worn a suit... @sirenbookstrand contemporary #PNR

Sexy Snippets are seven sentences, taken from a work in progress, or published book, brought to you every Sunday.

He merged his lips with hers in a kiss that closed his eyes with lust. His body heavy with desire, his cock painfully hard, strained at his clothes. The pressure of her fingers as she unfastened his pants sent a buzz of excitement over his skin. Tonight he’d worn a suit. The pants came undone easily, and her fingertips trailed over the head of his cock. A groan formed in his throat. He shuddered as she grasped his cock.

I’m a writer who is in love with happy endings. Currently based in the UK but thinking about joining the next flock of birds I see heading south for the winter.

I love: music, art, flowers, trees, the ocean ...

I work with antiques by day and words by night.

Like a vampire, darkness is my friend, that’s when the silence is only broken by an occasional hoot of owls in the woodlands opposite my current home, and I write.

Forever Blue is a lovely little love story. It is ethereal to the max, and I pictured it, if it was a movie, as being shot with a soft focus lens, with muted colors. That is a testament to Parkes’ ability with the descriptive word.
I loved the story, not so much for the love, but for the other worldliness of the whole thing which takes over the story and the characters.  Jasper’s story is poignant and engaging.

She stared out of her bedroom window at the strange blue glow, flashing in the rain. Was that the man who’d been on her patio?

The Winter Girl  erotic romance from Hot Ink Press, she might be the winter girl but she's hot...
Read a snippet.“Come here babe.” He heard his own voice husky, but controlled. He saw a flicker of surprise in Lily’s eyes. ‘She couldn’t have known I was home.’ Ash hoped she would smile at him, but she didn’t, she simply walked to stand near him.
Ash forced what he wanted to be a hard expression into his eyes. He made a swift move and crushed her to his body. As soon as she was in his arms Ash felt it again, the overwhelming need to hear her say how much she felt for him. Any crumb of emotion in her words would do.
He kissed her mouth hard. Her softness and her response was intoxicating. She kissed him back so willingly he thrust his hips against hers.

Excellent hero’s journey, soft and light love story... I think you’ll enjoy The Winter Girl.

The Winter Girl is inspired by a place I stopped for lunch.
The country town is in the middle of a huge stone circle and surrounding ring ditch. A road runs right through and is quite busy but in good weather, the place buzzes with tourists from all over the world. There is a main street with little shops and cafés. It’s not quite as big as the place I create for the setting of the book, but it’s gorgeously quaint and steeped in history. I found the characters of my book unfolding in my mind as I walked around the place, and especially my leading male character Starr Forrester. I would have loved to meet a real Starr Forrester there, but didn’t. I’m in love with him at the moment he’s so sexy, creative, clever, and naughty…

The Winter Girl

Lily Prescott is only just over a relationship break up when she decides to take up residence in a house left to her by her recently deceased grandmother. Her corporate law job takes a back seat as she licks her wounds in the small country town. She looks around the main shopping street and discovers people who will befriend her, but she also runs into the town’s most eligible bachelor and secret bad boy, Starr Forrester.
Loved for his lifelong association with the town, Starr hides his methods for staying single well from his friends. He’s nearly thirty, gorgeous, a designer, owns a business and on the lookout for his ‘Winter Girl’….
Will it be Lily? What is a ‘Winter girl’?
Fun, sex, romance and a little twist of the paranormal, makes this a must read.

The car shifted into motion and Sebastian pressed a button, raising the privacy screen between the driver and the backseat. Eden’s debutante training was beginning to kick in and she started to speak.
“I don’t know how to thank…” But before she could finish the sentence, he was on her.
Sebastian’s lips pressed against hers with a gentleness that didn’t seem to match the cool blue eyes that had been watching her moments ago. His hands caressed her hair and Eden found herself responding. She kissed back, opening her mouth to let his tongue gently sweep in. That act of acceptance acted like a trigger and Sebastian’s soft kiss turned ferocious. His hands gripped her hair, angling her head as his mouth assaulted hers. But she responded in turn and her hands reached to grasp his forearms, pulling him into her even more.
With one hand still lost in her hair, his right hand started moving, sliding down her neck, traveling over the smooth black silk of her dress until it cupped her breast. Eden moaned in surprise and desire. She should have been afraid, but she wasn’t. For the first time in years, she wanted this, wanted this man who she barely knew caressing her, touching her, turning her on. She pushed forward with her body, signaling to him that he had permission, wanting him to do more, giving herself to him. She could feel herself getting wet and she sucked in air as his mouth broke away from their embrace and moved down her face, kissing her neck and exposed skin along her shoulder.
The electricity she had felt in the hall when he had simply grazed her shoulder with his fingers was now magnified as his lips and tongue danced across her skin, and her body felt like it was on fire. His touch seemed to ignite and yet quench the flames that shot through her. His hand moved from her breast, sweeping down her waist, cupping her ass and pulling her even closer. She moaned into his hair as his mouth continued to caress and nuzzle her neckline. She was lost in his touch and his scent, her senses overwhelmed.
Suddenly, he pulled away and Eden tried to regain her composure, gasping for air, smoothing her dress as he leaned across her to open the door. She hadn’t even realized they had stopped. How long had they been driving? It had felt like only seconds.

From @naomi_jay a new #FF #romance from @EvernightPub, 'Cold Night Moon' #PNR

Thanks for having me here on your blog today! I'm really excited to be sharing my latest release, COLD NIGHT MOON - book five in my Urban Wolf Series. This is a series that's really so close to my heart for a lot of reasons, and it's great to be back in Ayla and Shannon's world. I've been with these characters for six years now, and I like to think that each installment, whether it's a short story like this or a full-length novel, has expanded the world and see my werewolf ladies grow. In COLD NIGHT MOON, I get to play with some British folklore (always fun!) and give Ayla and Shannon a romantic break in the woods...well, a sort of romantic break, anyway. I hope you'll love it!

Excerpt

“We’re going home,” I said, hoping my voice didn’t sound as shaky as I thought it did.
“No! Can’t you hear her! It’s so beautiful, Ayla, I have to see… I have to find her…” She slapped uselessly at my arms.
I had to change position. I couldn’t really see past her head and if she started kicking, she could take out my knees with those heavy hiking boots. But I didn’t want to let her go to try and put her in a better hold. With a groan, I sort of rolled her in my arms so we were face to face. Her expression was one of angry hunger, nothing like the Shannon I knew. She slapped me, her gloves stinging my cheek.
“Let me go!”
I growled and hauled her over my shoulder. She kneed me in the stomach and pummeled my back, shouting now.
“Put me down! I have to see her!”
"There's nobody there!" I cried, frustration boiling over into anger of my own. "Please, Shannon—"
She kneed me again, knocking the breathe from me, and I stumbled. Her weight overbalanced me, pitching us both into the snow, with Shannon landing on top of me. While I wheezed for air, she tried to scramble off me, but I grabbed her wrists and clung on. The sheer panic on her face scared me. It was the intense, mindless panic of an animal fleeing a wildfire, a human watching a friend die. You couldn't reason with that, couldn't snap someone out of it.
She twisted and thrashed, trying to free herself, while snow soaked through my jeans and slid into my boots, sending chills through me. I was fighting the elements as well as Shannon, and whilst I could outfight Shannon if I wanted, I couldn't hold off the cold forever.

I gritted my teeth. "I'm so sorry," I said, and then I headbutted her.

When delectable Thorn Valmont buys an old palace to renovate on the Mediterranean coast, he never dreams it will cost him his freedom.
Thorn is part of an aristocratic family. He’s a prince and must find his princess to solve a puzzle he inherits from the ancient owners of the Mediterranean palace.

Will he find her in time to stop his loneliness destroying him completely?

She knelt so that he could raise his hips and slide the jeans down his thighs.

The white sand felt cool under his ass. His cock ached. His stomach muscles were so tightly clenched with the need to fuck he could hardly breathe. Thorn watched Grace push aside the pale blue fabric of her bikini panties between her legs. His breath left him in a whoosh as she grasped his cock to guide the head to her entrance, and then with exquisite slowness sat down onto it so that he felt every inch of the warm, wet, glide in.

She straddled across his lap, her knees in the sand and her inner thighs against the skin of his outer thighs. She held the V of his hips and rode his cock.

Living Victorious, 2
Cateline Lyon has never forgotten the boy she gave her heart to. When they have a chance to reconnect she takes the opportunity. No matter the challenges that may come from his fame, she won’t let him get away again.
Shade Benson always turns to music for comfort. It's his way of expressing the emotions he never could talk about. Having Cateline back in his life, crazy though it may be, he feels the beginnings of a song lighting up his soul. All for her.

EXCERPT:
When he lowered his face toward hers, Cat grabbed onto his waist until she found the belt loops, and could hook her fingers through them. She had a feeling she was going to need an anchor. His lips brushed gently to hers, causing her breath to catch in her throat. Letting it out in a rush, she barely had time to suck in another lungful before he took her mouth.
Moaning, she let her lids drift down. One hand at a time, she moved them to hook around his neck until she was practically hanging off him. Not that he apparently minded if the growl he let loose was anything to go by. His hands tightened on her ass, and then he lifted. Knowing what he wanted, Cat jumped to wrap her legs around his waist.
Shade began to move, but wherever he was taking her, she didn’t care. Winding her arms around his neck, she broke the kiss to suck in some air. It was only a moment he gave her before taking her mouth again as he hit the stairs.
Cat rocked her hips against him and the seam at her crotch rubbed to his prominent erection. When Shade tore his mouth from hers to curse, Cateline pressed her mouth to his neck and grinned. She gave the tendon in his neck a little bite, and ground against his cock again.
Another curse sounded he stumbled up the last couple steps. She soon found her back pressed to the wall with his body pressing tighter to hers. Cat pushed her hands into his hair, and lifted her face to kiss him again. “Shade,” she said. Then she let out a moan against his mouth. “Need you, now.”
He must have agreed because his hands landed on her ass, and she felt them moving again. Tightening her hold on his hair, Cateline brushed kisses all over his face. The door slamming shut warned her they were finally in his bedroom. Which meant the bed was close.
Something she soon found herself bouncing on with a shriek when he tossed her. Pressing her hand to the mattress, she sat up quickly to face him. Whatever she’d been about to say was lost when her brain scrambled upon seeing him starting to strip down.
Her mouth actually went dry when he pulled the shirt over his head to bare his torso. She’d laid against that chest last night, but hadn’t seen it. This morning she sadly hadn’t been paying attention. Scrambling for the edge, Cat knelt down as close as she could get and pressed her hands to his skin. Her fingers brushed over the tattoo on his chest. Sucking in a sharp breath, she felt tears welling up at the tiny furry kitten curled up wearing a collar bearing her name on the tag.
“Shade.” Somehow she managed to force his name out around the emotional lump residing in her throat.

His hand came down over hers to flatten her palm to his flesh. “First one I put on my skin, Cat. The only one that holds more meaning than I could ever express.”

AUTHOR BIO:
Moira Callahan is a Canadian born and raised author. She loves to write, and only has a few select criteria that have to be in each of her books. A great story, steamy romance, and a HEA ending. The sub-genre isn’t as important to her as making whatever she writes feel real, and in the moment to her readers.
To that end she insists her characters be as real as everyday folks, even if they are blessed with a little fictional fairy dust to make them anyone’s personal fantasy. They must have faults, they must have a weakness, and they must have soul. To that end she writes her characters with a mixture of traits – a dash from herself, and something borrowed from a friend. This way the character is as perfectly imperfect as any other person on the planet.

Author @IyanaJenna brings #MM #romance re-release from @EvernightPub 'Character Obsession'

Thank you so much for having me on your blog today.  Character Obsession, was published by my publisher, Breathless Press, but they were closed some time ago. I am so grateful that Evernight adopted this story. I was so happy with some additional parts suggested by my editor here in Evernight. I think they were a great idea!

Chase Riley, a Hollywood actor, is kidnapped. One of the abductors, Luke Nelson, is delusional and thinks that Chase is Elliot, the character Chase plays in his procedural cop series on TV. Luke plans to replay what happened to Elliot on the show with Chase. The worse thing is that Luke gets help from his father who seems to be as crazy as his son. Chase's boyfriend, co-actor Aidan Buffett, is on a trip with his sister when Chase is abducted. He grows worried when his call to Chase goes unanswered. Will he ever see his boyfriend again? This is a previously published work. It has been edited for Evernight Publishing. Be Warned: m/m sex

Excerpt: Chase’s mind whirled and before he thought of anything else, he grabbed the door and threw himself out—or so he thought. The man was faster. A lot faster. He seized Chase by his jacket and just—stabbed him in his side. Chase caught his breath, and for some time he didn’t realize what happened. He sucked in a breath and whimpered when the guy yanked the knife out none too gently. Chase felt his world darken so he didn’t notice when the man slipped out of the car, came to be at the driver’s door, and wrenched him out from behind the steering wheel. As his breathing turned labored, Chase grappled at the source of the pain on his side and winced as he grasped it. “Come on. Move.” The guy grabbed him by the shoulder and pushed Chase in front of him. Chase swayed in the man's clutches, but he pulled himself up as he controlled his breath. Chase attempted to plant his feet as he was dragged up the stairs, but the pain had become too much and he could only comply. At one time the man rested him against the wall, took off his sunglasses, and pulled down his jacket hood, revealing himself. Chase gasped. The man was practically the mirror image of that Bob Nelson he met earlier at the diner, only rounder and much sturdier. And also a lot younger. What worried Chase was this man took off his disguise and didn’t seem too concerned he could recognize him. Not like Chase would be able to escape him and go to the cops, anyway. He was too sluggish to even move. They'd come in the back door, but not much attention was given to them by those at the front desk. Chase suspected that the man had stayed in the hotel long enough that he'd become just another familiar face. The man's grip tighten around his arm, but Chase kept his glare toward the receptionist in an attempt to get his attention—which failed totally—for the guy kept his head down. As his abductor dragged him toward the elevator, Chase palmed his side and lifted his hand with dread. It was damp and deep red with blood. "Don’t do anything you’re going to regret," the guy whispered to his ear as they got into the elevator, which, to Chase's dismay, was empty. "I don't want to have to kill you, Elliot. I love you." Chase turned cold at the mention of his character's name. "I'm not Elliot," he choked out. "I'm Chase." "Hush." The man pulled Chase's back against him, wrapping his long, muscled arm around Chase's shoulders, waving the knife before Chase’s eyes. Chase began to tremble.

#ScintillatingSunday
From The Flower Box, contemporary erotic romance, Hot Ink Press
Oliver doesn't start out to fall in love, in fact he's only going to do one act of kindness. Alice has a secret admirer, but who is it and will they drive Oliver away? A story to fall in love with.

8 scintillating sentences

Oliver’s words were so exciting her pussy doused her panties. Her nipples hardened, and she gasped, surprised at his words but loving them all the same.

He put her down in front of the sofa and pulled her jacket down her arms. It dropped to the carpet. He sucked her bottom lip, kissed her mouth, and then turned her in his arms to thrust his hard cock against her lower back. As he kissed up her neck to suck on her earlobe, he unzipped her dress and pushed it down and off so that she stepped out and kicked it away. His hands went into her panties right away. His fingertips teased under her ass, and his other hand slid along the entrance of her pussy.

“You’re wet. Bend over.”

...It’s romantic – with a special sort of whimsical feel to it.  So… dreamlike.  Their path to happily ever after was intimate, erotic and full of a romantic passion.  The author created two characters that stick with you long after you’ve finished reading the last page.  Her story building was done to perfection, and I’m thrilled to have gotten the chance to experience this wonderful book.

EXCERPT

“Anytime you want to climb on that pole again, Kai, I’m game.” Joel grinned. Wiping that smile off his face seemed near impossible. He’d been teasing me about it since the moment I climbed on top of the bar and danced.
“You’re never going to let me live it down, are you?” I actually didn’t mind, not that I’d tell Joel. My cheeks burned remembering that night. Although I was just doing my job, I knew how turned on it made him. If it weren’t for the fact we were in a bar on duty, I’d have given him a lap dance. Joel’s tongue would have probably hung out of his mouth. Being an FBI Agent was tough work, most of the time. The few moments where I could have some fun and let loose, why shouldn’t I?
Joel’s lips trailed a soft path of kisses across my jaw. I curled beneath the sheets of his mattress. “Joel, we can’t.” Though I wanted to, I wasn’t quite comfortable with it. The reason had nothing to do with him being my boss. We were over that. “Your kids are in the next room and the walls are thin.”
“They’re asleep.”
I laughed. “Yeah, for now. You’re loud. There is no way it won’t wake them up. The neighbors at my place give me slack when I run into them getting the mail.”
Joel whined and reached for my hip, pulling me against him. “Then why did you insist on sneaking over? You’re such a tease.”
“I am not!” I playfully shoved his chest. I tried my best to keep my voice down to a minimum. It’s not that I didn’t like his kids, I just thought it was too early for us to be doing weekends together. Which is why I opted to sneak over after they were in bed. I didn’t think ahead to the fact that we’d have to keep our voices down and that Joel was a loud moaner during sex. Not that I was particularly quiet, but he had the tendency to make sure everyone could hear us.
“Want to play a game?” he asked. His thumb stroked my hip, inching my shirt as the pads of his fingers grazed bare skin.
“Like Monopoly?” I wasn’t in the mood for board games.
Joel leaned his head forward, chuckling softly. He reached for me, brushing his lips against mine. I dragged my fingers into his dark, thick hair. “I had something more adult in mind.”
“Oh?” My hands paused their ministrations, trying to image what Joel would have thought up. He struck me more as a strip poker kind of guy, but we were already half-naked. Where was the fun in that? Joel climbed out of bed and headed for his closet. I whimpered in protest. “Where are you going? I’m right here.”
“I know a game that will be fun for both of us.” He brought one of his work ties out from the closet.
“If you’re planning on tying me to the bed, you know we have handcuffs for that.”
“No need. Unless of course you’re naughty. Close your eyes,” he said, and I did so, feeling the tie cover my eyes as he secured it at the back of my head. I was blindfolded. This was new for us.
My heart skipped a beat. I trusted Joel, but it still made me nervous. “What do you plan on doing?” I asked.

“Kai, you complained that I’m loud when we have sex. I’m going to make sure that you’re the one making all the noises. Better keep your voice down, I’m not sure I locked the bedroom door.”
