The Flower Box contemporary romance from Hot Ink Press by Elodie Parkes
...It’s romantic – with a special sort of whimsical feel to it.  So… dreamlike.  Their path to happily ever after was intimate, erotic and full of a romantic passion.  The author created two characters that stick with you long after you’ve finished reading the last page.  Her story building was done to perfection, and I’m thrilled to have gotten the chance to experience this wonderful book.

“Alice, it’s so great to hold you.” He rocked her a little, not trusting himself to say more because he loved her so much. The way he felt about her surprised him. It was a mix of wanting her naked and moaning as he fucked her, and protecting her from any and all harm.

She stirred in his grip and looked up into his face.
“It’s great to be held.” She smiled.

It melted his heart further and he bent his head to kiss her. When her lips moved against his softly and lovingly, it stole his composure. He held her face to kiss her hard.

She opened her mouth for his tongue.

Her response overwhelmed him. Oliver’s cock pushed at his jeans. He crushed her against his body to let her feel his arousal. He heard a little moan escape her and he grabbed her bottom to knead there.
“Alice, I want you so much.” He whispered it against her mouth.

In a fog of desire, he lifted his head to check on the proximity of other people. The day was gray, and perhaps that kept people away with a promise of rain because no one was around. He picked her up and carried her behind the screen of hedge and small trees where he’d been when he first saw her.

What’s it about?

The Debt Collector

I pay my debts, and I expect others to.
I was raised in the slums of London, I knew nothing of privilege. My father was murdered when I was seventeen. Morty figured my father's passing meant I would automatically take on dad's debts. I refused.
And I paid for that refusal.
So did my sister.
So now I fight. All I know how to do is fight. The best cash is in the states, so that's where I am now. A big fish called Vito came along offering me a "favor" when I arrived.
Another debt.
I paid for that one too.
I knew Kyla Hensley would be trouble when I met her. But I wanted her. I could see through the falsehood of her wannabe-slutty clothes and her sexy legs. So I chased her.
Besides, trouble is my middle name.

Kyla Hensley

I was brought up in privilege, but I lacked everything else. My father is a business tycoon who buys and sells and doesn't care who gets rolled over in the process.
I never knew my mother, and all I have of her is a photo with a note scrawled on the back in French saying "I'm sorry." The only Female Figure I had growing up is my dad's wife who is a bleach blond with seven boob jobs. We never bonded.
I drink. I party. I meet guys.
But I wasn't always like that.
I've had a string of lovers in the last few years, the worst and most recent of which was Vince Somerset. My best friend Vera was dating a guy called Rory Cansoom who is the opposite of Vince in so many ways, and yet so the same.
She and I hit the road for spring break, getting away from the two college psychos and just trying to have some fun.
But there's a funny thing about trouble, the more you run from it, the more it finds you.
Which is when I met the Debt Collector.
It was only supposed to be sex. He made that clear. I made that clear.
That's all it was supposed to be.
I never expected to fall in love. I never expected to fall so deeply, madly, uncomfortably in love with a man who is wrong, so wrong for me.
And yet...so unbelievably right.

The Old Star

Cathy gazed at him.
He took a deep breath and slowly put out his hand to hold her face and smoothed the place a frown had been.
“I guess you have someone in your life waiting for you to get home. You wouldn’t want to stay a while and talk to me about your plans for the place.” He kept his voice low and looked at her lips. It was no hardship. He felt an overwhelming urge to kiss her. He bent his head to be even closer to her as she stayed there stilled under his hand and his gaze.
‘She has to be attracted to me. She has to be, or she’d have shaken off my touch and be backing away.’

“I don’t have anyone, special that is. I’d like to stay a while.”

Owen moved so slowly he felt as if he had entered some dream state, but he reached her lips with his, and holding her face gently, he kissed her. Her lips were soft and she kissed him back. It felt so good he couldn’t pull away as he intended. He brought his other hand to her head and ran his fingers into her hair to hold her. He kissed her until he felt weakened. It was an unfamiliar feeling, but he liked it. His cock was hardening. That felt good too.
He drew back a little from Cathy’s face to look into her eyes. He saw her open them.
“Cathy I…I..” He had no idea what he wanted to say next. The need to keep kissing her ate at him.

She smiled a little and then put her arms around his neck and began to kiss him.

Owen received the kisses all over his face, and then as she reached his lips, he crushed her to his body and took over the kiss. He licked along the seam of her lips and then bit the bottom one softly as she opened her mouth for him. A spike of desire tore through his body and completed his erection as he slid his tongue against hers. He ground his hard cock against her and moved his hands to cup her bottom keeping her there. She wasn’t fighting. She was moving against him and it felt incredible. As he left her lips to kiss down her neck he vaguely thought, ‘This feels so fucking good…I don’t remember ever feeling so turned on.’

Saturday #sale time #eroticromance from @HotInkBooks I’m a writer who is in love with happy endings

On sale #contemporaryromance ,magical, romantic, sexy and always with a happy ending

I’m a writer who is in love with happy endings. Currently based in the UK but thinking about joining the next flock of birds I see heading south for the winter.

I love: music, art, flowers, trees, the ocean ...

I work with antiques by day and words by night.

Like a vampire, darkness is my friend, that’s when the silence is only broken by an occasional hoot of owls in the woodlands opposite my current home, and I write.

Manic Readers
Forever Blue is a lovely little love story. It is ethereal to the max, and I pictured it, if it was a movie, as being shot with a soft focus lens, with muted colors. That is a testament to Parkes’ ability with the descriptive word.
I loved the story, not so much for the love, but for the other worldliness of the whole thing which takes over the story and the characters.  Jasper’s story is poignant and engaging.

She stared out of her bedroom window at the strange blue glow, flashing in the rain. Was that the man who’d been on her patio?

The Winter Girl  erotic romance from Hot Ink Press, she might be the winter girl but she's hot...
Read a snippet.“Come here babe.” He heard his own voice husky, but controlled. He saw a flicker of surprise in Lily’s eyes. ‘She couldn’t have known I was home.’ Ash hoped she would smile at him, but she didn’t, she simply walked to stand near him.
Ash forced what he wanted to be a hard expression into his eyes. He made a swift move and crushed her to his body. As soon as she was in his arms Ash felt it again, the overwhelming need to hear her say how much she felt for him. Any crumb of emotion in her words would do.
He kissed her mouth hard. Her softness and her response was intoxicating. She kissed him back so willingly he thrust his hips against hers.

Manic Readers Review 5 stars
Excellent hero’s journey, soft and light love story... I think you’ll enjoy The Winter Girl.

The Winter Girl is inspired by a place I stopped for lunch.
The country town is in the middle of a huge stone circle and surrounding ring ditch. A road runs right through and is quite busy but in good weather, the place buzzes with tourists from all over the world. There is a main street with little shops and cafés. It’s not quite as big as the place I create for the setting of the book, but it’s gorgeously quaint and steeped in history. I found the characters of my book unfolding in my mind as I walked around the place, and especially my leading male character Starr Forrester. I would have loved to meet a real Starr Forrester there, but didn’t. I’m in love with him at the moment he’s so sexy, creative, clever, and naughty…

Saturday snippet #erotic romance from The Black Lion on .99 cents sale right now

When Melissa fleetingly meets Sascha in a nightclub, she hopes he will approach her.
Sascha has secrets and it’s a long time since there was a woman in his life.
Unknown to both of them someone watches jealously.
Will this jealousy stop the budding romance between two people who both have something to hide?
An erotic, paranormal romance, full of surprises.
Read the snippet:
She whispered. “It’s all okay. Can’t you tell from my kisses? I feel the same. When you stood in my way, in the club, I wanted to talk to you, but I didn’t know how. You’re so attractive. I felt shy. I saw your desire then, in your eyes. Not many men look at me like that. I’m glad you took me from the club. I’m not afraid, now I know what you are. Not now I’m here with you in your arms.” She kissed him between phrases as she stroked his cock, freed now to the night air.
Sascha growled long and low as he took her kisses, like gifts, on his lips, his cheek, his jaw. Very soon, he would have to fuck her. He could barely stop himself from taking her to the surface of the roof and stripping her naked. He wanted more for her than that. Who knows if someone will appear on this roof at any time?
“I can’t imagine what fool men you must have encountered that they don’t want you, Melissa. You’re driving me crazy. I want you desperately, but not here. Can I take you home or will you come home with me?” His voice little more than a whisper, he nuzzled her neck, grazed her lips with his teeth as he gasped out the words. The scent of her blood rushed in his head, but his fangs didn’t lengthen, he didn’t want to drink. He pushed the thought away. Just as he’d pushed away her words, ‘know what you are.’

Join the rush to buy....

It was a Monday morning and August held Millie close against him. He kissed her.
“It’s getting harder to let you go back home, Millie,” he trailed his lips along her neck, and then her breast where he sucked gently for a few seconds.
A delicious feeling crept over Millie and she pressed her hips against his.
August had just finished making love with her and felt his cock pulse again with pleasure.
He smiled at her. “Millie, you’re adorable. I can’t get enough of you.”

She closed her eyes and offered her mouth to be kissed.
Dominic held her head gently and kissed her slowly. He made the kiss last as long as he could. It was hard to stop kissing her because she moved towards his lips wanting more when he did ease back. Dominic was enchanted. He moved his hands from her face to hold her close with one arm and pick up a handful of her hair with the other. He savored the feel of her hair in his hand and kissed her more.
