The lovely @ellejade1 is my guest today with #eroticromance #newrelease 'Relentless Pursuit'

I'm excited to share my newest release with you. My beta readers have said that this is my hottest book to date! One-click for $0.99 to see if you agree!

Relentless Pursuit available now for a special release price!

Desire unlocks the door to a new world, but she never expected to find him on the other side.

Julian Anders has a way of making women drop to their knees. He's fierce, domineering, and knows what he wants in the bedroom. He craves total submission. His busy life doesn't allow him the luxury of traditional dating. He doesn't want it and doesn't need it. He makes no apologies until Kayla Quinn, his best friend's younger sister, shows up at the exclusive club where he finds his companions.

Kayla has been unsuccessful in love and is tired of waiting for the one. When a friend introduces her to an upscale club that caters in matchmaking without the commitment, she decides to try it. She requests a mature, dominant man, but she never bargained for what happens next.

Julian is enraged to find Kayla interested in men like him. Men who have no desire to commit. She's not the club's typical client. He's known her for years but stayed away despite his strong attraction to her. He decides the only way to save her from a potential disaster is to pursue her himself. Can she handle his darker side? The one she never knew existed? Perhaps he's finally met his match…both in and out of the bedroom.

Content Warning: contains explicit sex, adult content, and BDSM themes

Available on all other eBook platforms too!

"You feel something between us. I can't believe that of all the clubs I could have gone to, I found the one you own. That has to mean something," Kayla said.

"Coincidence." Julian's dismissive tone discouraged her, but she wasn't going to give up.

"Romantic."

"Definitely not that." He shook his head as he pressed his lips in a hard line. "Not from me."

He was too much of a guy to admit he could do romance. Connie had told her women didn't seek him out for a nice time. No, they wanted a wickedness they could remember for a lifetime. Kayla craved to know the things Julian desired. She wanted to be the woman he took them from with no apologies and no exceptions.

"It's getting late," he said. "I should get you home."

"I can be her," she blurted out, because she wasn't going to let this opportunity slip through her fingers. She didn't believe in coincidence. She had to seize the moment.

"Who?"

"Whoever you seek out on your application. Let me try to be her for you."

"If I hadn't overindulged you in champagne, would you be this courageous with me?" He tilted her chin, holding her still as she pondered his question. "Be truthful, and not just for me. You owe it to yourself to be honest."

"I drank too much, but what I'm saying is true."

"You don't know what you're saying." He kissed the tip of her fingers before releasing her from his hold. "Even if you believe it to be true. That's a big problem for me."

"Why won't you give me a chance?"

"Because you're not the woman for me."

Ouch! Not even the alcohol could numb that sting.

"How do you know?" According to Connie, he gave complete strangers his undivided attention when he was matched in the past. What was wrong with her?

"I've been doing this for a long time." He sighed. "It's not you, it's me."

"Seriously? You're going to go with that line?"

"I'm sorry if I misled you. I shouldn't have allowed you to think I was going to take this any further."

"I don't understand."

"You're young, vibrant, witty, charming, and funny." He took her hands in his. "You don't need to be here. You don't need men like me. Whatever happened in college with those guys, it's in the past. You'll find what you're looking for. Give it some time."

"That's not for you to decide."

"It is tonight." He released her and took his cell from his pocket. "I'll have Francis, my driver, bring the car around. He'll take you home."

"You can't dismiss me. I won't let you."

"I just did." He placed a soft kiss on her forehead, and damn her, she still wanted more from him. "I want you to go home now. I'll see to it you get there safely."

"Save your call, Mr. Anders. I can grab a cab."

"I'd rather you not."

"I don't care what you'd rather." She grabbed her shoes from the floor and her clutch before heading for the door. She didn't have to stand there and be humiliated by him. "I'm perfectly capable of seeing myself home."

"You drank too much. I'd feel better if you didn't leave here alone."

"Maybe you should have thought about what you wanted to do with me before you kept filling my glass." Take that, Mr. Insensitive!

"Kayla." He raised his voice. "Don't push me."

"Actually, your firm tone isn't going to work on me." She opened the door. "Considering I'm not that woman."

Excerpt...

“We’re not going to do it.” Rosalie wiggled out of Holt's hold and slipped off the counter, taking a few steps back to create some distance as she fixed her bra and shirt. His scent lingered on her skin.
Hell! Why does he have to look so good?
“What’s the game?” When he leaned against the counter, she could see his impressive excitement poking into the towel.
“There’s no game.” At least she wasn’t the one playing any games.
“Bullshit. I feel it every time I touch you.” He picked up his mug. “Why are you pulling back?”
“Because all you ever do is touch me. Can’t you see how explosive we are? How fast things heat up?”
“That’s not a problem for me. It tells me the sex is going to be amazing.”
“Maybe I’m not looking for amazing sex.”
“What?” He looked like he might choke on the air between them.
“Amazing sex is great.” Until now sex had been mediocre for her. She hadn’t had that many partners, and the few sexual encounters she had were usually with frat guys who’d had too much to drink. “But a relationship can’t be about sex and nothing else.”
“A relationship?” Confusion spread across his face faster than poison ivy covered the skin, but he looked just as uncomfortable as he would if he were suffering from the itchy condition.
“A foreign concept to you, I know. I read the tabloids.” His reputation was the reason she warned herself to stay away from him. But she wasn’t even in town forty-eight hours and she couldn’t manage to keep her mind or her lips off him.
“Don’t believe everything you read.” He brought the mug to that kissable mouth again, took a long sip, and then continued. “My family is an easy target for those rags. My father’s in the senate, and every time a president from the opposing party takes office, my old man publicly fights with him every chance he gets. My mother is an heir to one of the largest diamond manufacturers in the country. Their only son is the starting pitcher for the number one team in baseball. We sell papers.”
“So all that stuff about you and those girls isn’t true?”
“I didn’t say that. I just said don’t believe everything they print about me.” He grinned, probably because he was impressed with some of the things printed about him. “If you change your mind about me and you, I promise you won’t regret it.”
“You’re something, but I’m going to pass.” She pulled the hair tie from her hair and redid her ponytail. “Unless you want to grab dinner or something and we could get to know one another. See if there can be more than sex between us.”
“Like a date?” More confusion.
“Another foreign concept?”
“We’re wasting time with this conversation.”
“I don’t think we are. It’s all very telling.”
“How are we ever going to hit the sheets, princess, if you don’t get these silly fairytale ideas out of your head?”
“That’s not the problem.”
“It isn’t?” His towel dipped lower than before, exposing more of that complex tattoo of his. How she ached to see the whole thing.

“The question should be how are we ever going to hit the sheets if you don’t start believing in fairytales?”

Wanting to escape the demons of his recent past, he moved to Steeple, taking a sabbatical from his teaching job to write a book. He wasn't prepared for the spunky, persistent bar owner to invade his life. But the more she pushes, the more intrigued he becomes.

Neither one of them expected to find any common ground, much less fall in love. What happens when an OCD professor collides with a risk-taking woman who won't take 'no' for an answer?

Content Warning: contains graphic sex and mature content

I'm excited to announce the release of A Love Discovered. If you've read A Love Stolen you've met Cali. See how the sassy bar owner discovers love with a sexy, domineering professor.

After lunch, another hour of conversation, and a long swim, Cali lounged on the chair by the pool. Her shoulder-length blonde hair dried naturally and curled at the ends. Carter watched as she closed her eyes and enjoyed the afternoon sun. Her tanned skin glistened with sunscreen and her tiny bikini was almost dry. He wondered how many hours of intense workouts created a body like hers.

"Are you admiring me again?" she asked with her eyes still closed.

"How many tattoos do you have?"

"Wouldn't you like to know?" She giggled.

"I would."

As improper as it was, he couldn't take his gaze away from her right nipple. The evidence straining against her damp bikini indicated a piercing of some sort. He'd never been more fascinated by anyone before. Throughout the years he'd seen quite a few attractive young women on campus, but he never acted on impulse when it came to students, no matter how tempting. Cali wasn't a student. She was a quirky, attractive woman who was very much in touch with her sexuality. She turned him on. He wanted to explore with her.

"Four."

He sat on the edge of the lounge chair, taking her right ankle into his hand. "Here." He outlined the small butterfly that permanently marked her skin.

"That's one." She opened her eyes when he trailed his hand up her leg and to her hip.

It had been years since he had pursued a woman. He'd gotten married when he was twenty-four and stayed faithful through the whole fourteen years of that turbulent relationship.

"Two." He swept his fingers over the pink-and-purple-colored rose petals sprinkled along her hip.

"Keep going."

He took her hand in his and examined more rose petals on the inside of her wrist. "Do they hold significance?" He traced his fingertips over the tattoo, indulging in her smooth skin beneath his touch. The way her flesh prickled in response instigated his actions.

"I like roses." She sat up, placed her legs across his lap, and leaned closer to his face. "My mother had the most beautiful rose bushes in our backyard." She pushed her hair to the side and tilted her neck. "Four."

"It's exquisite," he mumbled as he took in the ivy that started at her collarbone and flowed down the back of her shoulder blade.

"I wouldn't have pegged you for a man who likes ink on his woman."

"I'm not usually." He ran his thumb from the start of the tattoo to where it ended on her back. He wanted to feel every inch of her forbidden flesh. She shivered when he stopped. "It goes back to those boundaries you don't have."

Reaching out, she placed her palm on his cheek, directing him closer to her lips. "The question is…" She brushed her mouth against his chin. "Do you have enough for both of us?"

Riley closed her eyes and let the heat of the water engulf her tired muscles. Resting her head against the bath pillow, she cleared her mind. The steam seeped out from the bubbles and swirled around the room. Soon the mirror and windows were fogged and a scented mist surrounded the bathroom, creating a relaxing atmosphere. A week’s worth of sleepless nights had taken their toll and Riley drifted off.

The squeak of the faucet and the silence that followed distracted her tranquil thoughts. She opened her eyes to find him sitting on the edge of the tub looking at her. For a moment, she felt self-conscious. She glanced down and discovered her body covered in thick, white bubbles. He couldn’t see anything but the tops of her shoulders, neck, and face.

“Sorry,” he said. “I was afraid the water would overflow.”

“Am I awake?”

He shook his head. She noted his green eyes sparkled even in the dim lighting of the bathroom.

“Well, then how—”

“It’s complicated.” His thin, pink lips formed a small smile. “I can’t explain now.”

“Why not?”

“There isn’t enough time to make you understand while you’re in your current state. We need much more time. You can get that for us.”

“Are you real or am I crazy?”

“I’m very real, just stuck between realms. I’ve been waiting for you for a long time.” He slid off the side of the tub and knelt down on the floor. “I’m afraid I can’t stay very long. I keep trying to figure out how to increase the length of my visits but nothing seems to work.”

“I don’t know you.”

“You will.” He reached for the clip in her hair. “May I?”

She nodded.

Once he’d freed her hair from its confines, he smoothed the damp locks out with his hand. “I like when you wear it down. It’s so pretty.” He continued to stroke her hair. “You’re just as beautiful as I remember.”

“How do you know me?” She shifted her position to face him. She breathed in his crisp scent. He smelled of spice, maybe a hint of cinnamon.

“I…” He trailed off when his gaze caught her exposed breasts. He looked lost in a distant memory.

When she’d turned to face him she’d upset the bubbles shielding her. Her nipples hardened as she watched him take in her flesh. She no longer felt embarrassed.

“I have to go.”

“You keep leaving me. I don’t like it.” Each time he left, he took a small piece of her with him.

“That’s why you need to find me.” He leaned forward. “I know you can. You’re very powerful.” He brushed his lips against her mouth. A rush of warmth coursed through her and settled between her legs. “Find me, Riley.” He kissed the corner of her mouth, lingering a second longer than usual. She took the opportunity to run her tongue along his soft lips. “Find me now.”

“How?” She wanted more than anything to find this man. “What do I need to do?”

“Tucker…” he whispered.

“What?”

Riley slipped off the bath pillow and under the cold water. She quickly sat up and looked around. The bubbles had evaporated into the freezing water.

Did she turn the faucet off? Or did…

I must be crazy.

She thought for a moment. Her mystery man had left her a big clue tonight. Now she needed to figure out what Tucker Sparrow had to do with any of this. It looked as if she would be paying a visit to a man she hadn’t seen in a decade.
