From Evernight Publishing and E.D.Parr, a gay romance, a love story with a difference ...

Given Time
Music video maker, Angel Starc is about to board a plane to Paris when he receives some sudden sad news. It takes him hurrying back to his childhood home after two years away, estranged from his older brother, Rory.
Angel is amazed and filled with guilt when that night he meets the only man he’s found romantically attractive in a long time. How can it be right? He should only be filled with sorrow, but gorgeous, caring Matt Loewe wraps him in a blanket of comfort and love that heals Angel’s troubled soul.
Delectable, artist, Matt Loewe, follows his hunches and his heart. He’s been looking for love and Angel ignites an addictive passion in him.
As the two men fall deep in love they provide each other with the care needed to come to terms with their past anxieties.

(Contains anal M/M sex, frottage, gay partner oral sex, masturbation)

Be teased
He kissed Matt, gently, soaking up the feel of Matt’s skin against his nose. He thrust his hips so that his lower body crushed on Matt’s and the unmistakable shape of Matt’s cock, hard and bulging in his pants met Angel’s cock. A low groan escaped Angel and he deepened the kiss, clinging to Matt, as his legs weakened and his heart pounded.

Matt pushed his arms around Angel’s neck, and Angel’s hands fell away from the grip on his shoulders. Matt’s murmur penetrated Angel’s haze of pleasure. “I can’t even think straight, but I know I want you naked in my arms.” He rained kisses on Angel’s mouth.

Angel pushed his hands between their bodies. He traced Matt’s erection with his fingertips and then cupped it in his palm, pressing against the fabric of Matt’s pants.

Matt’s groan on Angel’s lips sent a shock of desire through his balls.

The Power of Peppermint @LDBlakeley #MMRomance #HolidayRead new release

Thank you for having me on today to tell you about The Power of Peppermint! This happy little holiday novella is a true labour of love for me. It's my first self-published title as well as my first Christmas release. So I hope you enjoy!

The Power of Peppermint by L.D. Blakeley
Available: December 14, 2016
Erotic Romance, MM, Romantic Comedy, Holiday Romance
Publisher: LDB Books
ASIN: B01MRX7F8F

The most wonderful time of the year?

When Jamison Pritchett is roped into replacing the mall photographer at Santa’s Village a week before Christmas, he’s certain he’ll be spending the holidays recovering from a nervous breakdown. A throng of sugar-frenzied kids might be enough to send this uptight photographer back into the darkroom permanently. Inappropriate thoughts about his far-too-attractive—and far-too-young—assistant aren’t helping fight that urge to hide, either.

For Noah Hawkins, adulting is a snap. Too bad relationships aren’t. With his business temporarily closed for repairs, he’s happy to help his sister out of a jam, even if the costume he’s given to wear borders on obscene. Constantly being mistaken for a teenager is no treat either, especially when he discovers his temporary new co-worker is sexy as hell and 15 years his senior.

Can Noah convince Jamison that age is just a number? Or will Jamison resist the gift Santa seems to be handing him on a platter?

EXCERPT:

The wiggle he gave as his cell phone rang, elicited a flurry of giggles from the children who were patiently awaiting their turn. He’d tucked it into the waistband of his tunic because, well, honestly there was nowhere else to stash it.

“Speak of the devil,” he answered, seeing his sister’s face on the phone’s display. “Woah, woah, cool your jets.” Noah held the phone an inch or so from his ear. His sister’s voice was anything but dulcet, especially when she was blasting him with an earful of — wait, what did she say?

“Where are you?” Abi demanded.

“At the mall in all my elfin glory.”

“Well, how come Jamison just told me you bailed?”

Her voice had zero chill and Noah knew better than to mess with her too much. “What are you talking about? I’m looking at him right now. Have been for hours.” As though to punctuate Noah’s sentence, Jamison looked up at that exact moment. Noah couldn’t help himself and flashed what he hoped was a dazzling smile.

Dropping his voice just in case it carried, he continued. “P.S., how come you never mentioned how hot he was? I mean, he’s wound tighter than a two-dollar watch, but he’s damn pretty. You did say he’s gay, right?”

“He is. And leave him alone.”

“Hang on a second, you’re talking to me like I’m a delinquent teenager instead of someone helping you out of a jam. Remind me again how you roped me into this gig?”

“You’re good with kids, know your way around a camera, and could use the distraction. And you love me.”

Noah laughed at her bullet-pointed accuracy. “I don’t love you that much. Try again.”

“Because I’m letting you live under my roof, smartass. And as long as you’re under my roof—”

“I know, I know,” he cut her off with a chuckle. “But I might have to amuse myself by flirting with the J in A & J Photography.” He could almost hear the impending warning, so he didn’t give her a chance. “Sorry, gotta go. Santa’s almost done for the day and requires my assistance. Bye-bye.”

She hated it when he did that. Which made it all that more fun when he did. Just to be on the safe side, however, he turned the ringer off before tucking his phone back into his patent leather belt.

There were only a few kids left in line when Mac gave him the wrap-it-up signal, so he latched the velvet rope behind the last of them to keep out stragglers. As much fun as the munchkins were, Noah was looking forward to getting home, getting showered and putting on real pants.

When the last print of the day had been handed over to a beaming young couple and their chirpy toddler, he locked up the till and started packing things away for the night. Within the first few days on the job, he’d gotten the routine down to a science and was finished in no time.

Jamison was still crouched by a tripod busily loading lenses into his camera bags so he wandered over to help. He didn’t seem the type to let anyone touch his gear but Noah figured he’d at least ask. It was as good an excuse as any to talk to the guy.

“Need a hand?”

“I’m just about finished. Thanks.” Jamison zipped up the bag and stood to his full height.

With absolutely no shame, Noah gave him a head-to-toe once-over. Damn.

“I’m Noah by the way.” He grinned, knowing full well by the slight blush on Jamison’s face that he’d been caught. He hadn’t been going for subtle. “Abi’s brother.”

“Oh. Oh.” Jamison’s eyes widened, no doubt in recognition of the name. “Jamison. Hi.” He cleared his throat and held his out his hand.

“Nice working with you today.” He held onto Jamison’s hand a beat or two longer than necessary and gave him a puckish smile. “I’ll see you tomorrow,” he added with a wink.

For good measure, he added a bit of sway to his hips as he walked away. He’d be willing to bet good money Jamison was watching his ass.

Gayle Cranfield was born in East London, England and found her forever after, Mark at the age of 14.
Now, 32 years later, they have two children and after a move in 2016 they now live in West Cork on The Wild Atlantic Way in Ireland.  They have one child at University in Wales working on a Masters degree in Psychology and another at the London College of Fashion studying Make up, Hair and Prosthetics for Performance (Training to become a sci-fi makeup artist for film and TV basically).

Gayle was an Account Manager for a manufacturing company until 6 years ago when, after a weird shamanic experience in Brazil, she changed her life path. Whilst on a road trip around California in 2013, she read some disastrous books and when she returned home decided to write one of her own. Having never creatively written a word since school, she picked up her iPad and hesitantly started to write in secret thinking she'd write a short story. Before she knew it, she had 20 chapters and 97000 words!

"It is great to see your work come alive," Gayle says. "Although you have had various Beta readers telling you it is a great story and a real page turner until a publishing company says 'Yes we want your work' you only think your friends are being nice and trying not to hurt your feelings. Seeing the front cover being emailed to me for approval was when the reality hit me that this was actually happening and people other than my friends were going to read it."

Gayle writes suspense and paranormal novels with a very dark twist, aimed at 18+ age group. After a short break from writing due to her move in 2016, she is now writing full time and has four novels published and one short story to be released on 14th December 2016. She has another short story that has been submitted to her publisher and is hoping it will be released early 2017, with a full novel being submitted in the new year with another April 2017.

Can a bad reputation hide a good heart? #MM #romance from guest author @bellasettarra #westernromance

‘The Men of Moone Mountain’ Book 2

by Bella Settarra

Can a bad reputation hide a good heart?
After realizing everyone he has been with only wanted him for his money, Rich Buchanan, the billionaire’s son, gives up the dream of a serious relationship and gets his kicks sleeping around. He prefers men, but he only brings home women, since his father would be horrified to find out Rich was gay. But secrets are hard to keep among the rich, and his antics soon earn him the nickname “The Red-Light Wrangler” when people discover that money exchanges hands whenever he sleeps with a guy.

When Nate Walker starts work as Assistant Foreman at the Buchanan Ranch, his good looks and gorgeous body immediately pique Rich’s interest. And despite the gossip, Nate can’t help falling for him, either. But when Rich’s cousin Joey decides to blackmail Rich to pay off his debts, he soon realizes he could get much more out of the situation. Outing his gay cousin and causing a rift between Rich and his father could be just the thing to secure his own position as Frank Buchanan’s sole heir.

Rich has no one to turn to but his lover. But Nate has secrets of his own, and his reasons for being at the ranch are not entirely honorable...

Story Excerpt

“Sorry to hear about your dad, Rich.” Kent Freeman, the Deputy Sheriff, stood there with a grim expression on his face. “Mind if I come in?”
Rich stood back, allowing the tall, handsome guy into his house. He had expected him to go straight into the office, but Kent turned into the sitting room where his eyes went directly to the small table. Shit!
Rich felt his stomach lurch as Kent stared down at the note. “This arrive today?”
“Yeah. I just found it in the mailbox.” Rich frowned. He had expected Kent to be surprised by the note, but he seemed to take it in his stride.
“Mind if I get it fingerprinted?” Kent asked, not even touching the paper.
Rich shrugged. “Be my guest. You know who it’s from?”
Kent sighed as he put on a glove before placing the note in a plastic bag he pulled from his back pocket. “Do you?”
“I’ve got my suspicions,” Rich replied.
“Let me guess. Your cousin Joey or Cole Jackson?”
Rich gawped at him. “How in hell do you know that?”
“You should’ve come to us right at the beginning,” Kent admonished. “Could’ve saved everyone a lot of time and trouble.”
“You took Cole Jackson in about the poisoning, said you couldn’t pin anything on him,” Rich reminded him. “Anything after that would just sound like sour grapes.”
“We didn’t know about your cousin trying to blackmail you. Or Dan Robertson’s involvement.” Kent looked at him, shaking his head.
Rich sighed. “Kent, you know how it is. I’m gay, man. Dad’ll go mad if he finds out. I’ll lose everything.” He slumped into the nearest armchair, and Kent followed suit in the one opposite.
“Being gay ain’t a crime, Rich, but blackmail is. And so is poisoning horses.”
“I know, but Dad won’t see it that way. He’ll disown me, I know he will. Joey knows it, too.”
“That’s what he’s banking on,” Kent agreed. “But you’ve lost half your livestock because of this. And if you can’t prove you didn’t do it yourself you won’t even get the insurance pay out.”
Rich took a swig of his whiskey. “So, will this prove I didn’t do it?” He gestured to the note which the deputy had put in his pocket.
Kent Freeman shook his head. “Nope. I’m afraid it just gives you a motive.”

Adult Excerpt

Suddenly Rich grabbed hold of Wyatt’s muscular arms and pulled him down onto the bed. He got up and stood over him, yanking the blond guy’s long, hairy legs over his shoulders. He heard a loud gasp as he hauled him down the bed to get a better position.
Wyatt grabbed a condom from the nightstand and passed it up to Rich. He snatched it out of his hand and grinned when he opened it. Ribbed. He rolled the rubber onto his pulsating dick and yanked the guy’s hairy ass open. He heard a yelp, but paid him no heed. He watched Wyatt screw his eyes shut and barked at him. “Look at me!”
Wyatt’s eyes shot open and he stared up at him. Rich had a sense of satisfaction at his control. He lined his cock up to the gaping asshole and stared into Wyatt’s eyes as he thrust past the tight rim.
“Aah!” Wyatt’s panicked eyes seemed to glaze over and his jaw tensed.
Rich massaged the guy’s ass with one hand, while stroking his cock with the other until Wyatt’s face relaxed. Then he pumped hard into him, eliciting another loud yell. The cowboy’s shouts soon became excited as the pain must have morphed to pleasure and he began grunting with each thrust. Rich grinned as he pounded hard into the guy’s ass. He needed this. He closed his eyes and Nate Walker’s face flashed into his mind. He felt himself grinning as he thrust harder and harder, visualizing Nate lying naked before him, Nate groaning in ecstasy.
When Rich opened his eyes they were watery and glazed. All he could see was a mass of blond hair on the bed and, with his mind still on Nate Walker, he moaned loudly. He felt the body beneath him thrusting back toward him and heard fevered yelps and groans. The fire in his belly was roaring now and he felt like his whole body was a raging furnace. He hammered hard into the ass under him, yanking on the dick in his hand. With a loud grunt the body he was fucking convulsed and he felt cum like boiling lava trailing down his hand. His own orgasm wracked him and he pounded hard into the guy’s ass, over and over. Lights flashed in front of his eyes and he heard himself roar as relief swept through him. He just kept thrusting until he was finally satisfied. His breathing was rampant as he slunk onto the bed next to his partner, and he felt the cool air wash over his sweating body.
Both men lay in silence, heaving at the air, eyes closed for several minutes. Rich’s eyes opened slowly and he stared at the face next to his. For a split second he had actually expected to see Nate Walker lying there, but realized in horror that it wasn’t. While Wyatt’s eyes were still closed, Rich shot to his feet and grabbed his clothes before heading off to find the bathroom down the hall. He disposed of the condom and splashed cold water over his face and torso. His breathing was still rapid and he took a glass of water to try to recover himself. Pulling his clothes back onto his still-sweaty body felt horrid, and he left his shirt unbuttoned, hoping that the cold night air would cool him off a bit.
His head automatically faced the bedroom when he retreated from the bathroom, but he thought better of it. Like a thief in the night he made for the front door and slipped out. The cold night air bit him hard, and he shivered as he climbed into his car. Opening the windows wide he relished the freezing cold of the wind as it swept through his hair and over his flushed body. He needed the cold. He needed the space.
He needed Nate Walker.

About Bella Settarra
In Bella’s world all the heroes are gorgeous hunks and the heroines are always beautiful. Having said that, she firmly believes that ‘handsome is as handsome does’ and that ‘beauty is in the eye of the beholder’. (She is also a big fan of clichés as well as alliteration!)
She has been hanging out with her ‘imaginary friends’ for a couple of years now and finds the profession exhilarating and intriguing.  Her stories are all Erotic Romances, although they vary considerably in subject-matter.
She loves writing Cowboy Romances and was thrilled when the first book in her The Men of Moone Mountain series, (Etopia Press), entitled Ménage on Moone Mountain, received a nomination for the Ménage Romances Fan’s Award 2015 and became an ARe Bestseller, and the third book in this series, Ménage on Ryder Ranch was also nominated for the Erotic Ménages Romances 2016 . The fourth book in this series, Ménage at the Mode Boutique is now also available in digital format. She is currently writing another Cowboy series, Midnight in Montana (Siren Publishing), the first of which, Dallas at Midnight, is already available, with the second, Meet Me at Midnight due for release in June 2016.
Her Collar and Cuffs series (Etopia Press) also received an ARe Bestseller Award for Waiting on Summer, which has also been nominated for the BDSM Writers Con Golden Flogger Award 2016. This series was set in a BDSM club in Miami, and was a joy to write.
Her writing career began, however, in the fantasy/myth genre, with her first series Sirens and Sailors (Siren Publishing). Although this was a series of six novels, it actually started out as a short story! This was a delight to write and was proof positive that her High School Classical Studies lessons weren’t wasted.
She has also had a couple of short stories published in Men for Hire and Men for Hire 2 (Luminosity Publishing) and even had some rather raunchy poems included in Coming Together in Verse.
Not everyone is perfect – but it’s the character flaws which make them interesting, she believes. As in life, things don’t always run smoothly, but it’s the twists and turns which provide the drive to keep going, even when it just feels like an uphill struggle. Bella is currently fighting her own battle against breast cancer – a battle which she is determined to win – and believes that all women have the right to feel sexy even when they are battle-scarred.

Cuffed and Collared on the blog from @KastilEavenshade #erotic #PNR new release from @evernightpub

It's been a wild wicked ride for me. When I first had the idea for Cuffed and Collared, it sat on the backburner for a bit. My mind swirls with ideas and hops around quite a bit. The spark happen when I saw a very inspiring photo on Facebook which I can't share because I don't own the pic. Needless to say, that's the first spark. The second spark happened because of Lila Shaw. I love her succubus books. Instead doing something with those little devils, I turned myself to the male side--incubus. This is the second one I've done, though the first one was m/f. I love the mythos behind it and honestly, you can take it to new heights. I love writing every spectrum of erotic romance and my last m/m had been released some time ago. This one took a dark turn yet still ended in a HFN. The journey to get there, however, is littered with suspense. Enjoy!

Cuffed-and-Collared-evernightpublishing-JayAHeer2016-large2-3Drender
Teaser: I glanced at the cop in the corner. His eyes never met mine but his hand wavered near his gun. I slumped in the chair, regarding the person in front of me. The detective also wore a gun at his side. Could I possibly beguile him and start a skirmish between the two? If I got lucky, someone would come in to break them up and I could slip out, but what then? By his build, I'd rather use my abilities to have him under the table in blow job city. However, that broke my “no cop” rule. "Here's the thing." I tapped the papers. "These don't exist." My tone was low, meant only for him. I stared into his eyes, letting my natural pheromones saturate the air. "In fact, you've never seen them before." He sat back, his jaw unhinged. As I opened my mouth for the killing blow, he laughed at me. What had just happened? "Thing is, your latest fuck toy told me what you are and, well…" He stood and walked over to my side of the table, laying his filthy hands on my shoulders. "I'm part incubus so none of your tricks are going to work on me." He whispered in my ear. "Why do you think I took the case? I'm the only one who remembers those two other cases in front of you." He moved back to his side of the table. Cold washed over me and I prepared myself for the fate in front of me were I to return to prison. Gnawing hunger and never getting enough soul sucking to control the ache. The detective snapped his fingers and the cop went to the door, tapping a few times. The door opened and he exited, leaving me and the half-breed alone. "Just so you know, you didn't have to lower your voice. No one is behind the glass and Officer Bergon was under my control." He laced his fingers together. His tongue wet his lips and I imagined him using his cuffs to restrain me for an unlawful carnal fuck. Thoughts I tried quickly to purge. "So get this over with." I pushed the papers back to him. My mind refused to eradicate how damn sexy he was. Now wasn't the time for temptation with incarceration on the line. "Not that simple. Your fuck toy that turned you in? I've been watching him for a long time. I thought you were an interesting part of the puzzle—an incubus stealing to pay for a small taste of such a small soul when you could have fed on better." "I have fed on better." I spat to the side. "How about we get to the meat of why you have me in here. You know … brother," I pointed to me, "to half-wannabe." My finger swung his way. He spread out his arms. "Donnie Peterson has more than you on his roster. The man you saw him with when you got arrested? Just another one of his pawns like you." "I'm no one's pawn." "You're going to be everyone's pawn if you don't drop the attitude and listen up." He pounded the table. Good cop and bad cop all rolled into one hot mess. I'd have been lying to myself if I didn't give him credit for being a tasty treat. If no one was truly watching, I'd be wishing he'd slam me down on this table and show me how big his cock was. As my thoughts ran wild, I caught a dark glower growing in his eyes as his pupils enlarged. So, I could affect him. "Are you saying you want to save my ass from being the latest buffet line in county? I mean, if you’re here and know what I am, then you know exactly where to put me to make my life hell." "I want you to find out who is the king to the bishop you've been dealing with." "Donnie works for someone else?" He chuckled. "You never noticed his many trips?" "I never cared. Not like he's the only fuck in town. He was just a good steady hook up without the hassle." I inspected my fingernails. "If I help you, what's going to give me what I need to have a clear conscience?" And a clear record without any proof left lying around for the next half-breed asshole. It was bad for one in my line of work to be tied to a cop. I did have some morals, however loose they may be. "Only if you listen to exactly what I tell you." I pondered his arrangement. I had no issue playing the part of a sub, if that was what he was implying. The matter, however, of Donnie was my problem. I wanted to get back at him for what he'd attempted to do. I couldn't pay that little bitch back behind bars. "And if you release me how does that work exactly? Donnie knows you arrested me. He thinks I'm gone and not his problem anymore." "He has no idea you got picked up." The detective grinned. Sneaky incognito man in blue had covered all his tracks, so it seemed. "You're a piece of work." Okay, I'd be lying if I didn't want to fuck him. Was he releasing pheromones to beguile me? I shook my head at the thought. "Deal." He nodded. "My name is Leo Vincent. I'm going to bring you out the back way and you're going to waltz back in the front and ask for me. Tell them you have information on Donnie Peterson." "And then what?" He stood and leaned in. "Then I'm going to fuck you like you've been fantasizing this whole time." Available for purchase at: Evernight Publishing | Amazon | ARe | Bookstrand

A Gemini Island new release from @LeoRosanna #menage #shifter romance 'Predator's Trinity' #suspense

Blurb:
Librarian Suzan Marsh is an empath and has always felt assaulted by the feelings of others. She has had to distance herself from the people in her life, raising a mental barrier to ward off unwanted emotions. When wolf shifter August Crane abducts her, he breaks through the walls she constructed, forcing her to accept a frightening new truth.
Jaguar shifter twins Percy and Byron Moon are familiar with the evil ways of August Crane. Because of him, their childhood was destroyed. Because of him, their way of life at the peaceful Ursa Fishing Lodge and Resort is threatened. And they won’t rest until he is dead.
When Crane drags Suzan into his cult and decides to make her his “concubine,” Percy and Byron know they must save the human woman. Their connection to her is strong and they cannot deny the dream they always held close. That they could share a woman and make her their mate.
But even after rescuing Suzan, none of them are free from Crane’s clutches. The wolf shifter has plans, ones that involve the demise of every shape shifter at the Ursa Resort. Not only must Percy and Byron keep Suzan safe, they must convince her to accept them both. In order to stop Crane from hurting everyone they love, they must learn to fight together.

Read an Excerpt:
After her shower, she toweled off and dressed in the clothes provided, choosing a pretty green V-neck T-shirt to accompany the jeans. Everything fit perfectly, from underwear to outerwear, as if the Moons had already known her. It boggled her mind, but she couldn’t lose the sensation they were connected by more than just circumstance. Her instincts never lied. After slipping into a pair of soft white socks, she made her way toward the kitchen.
She heard Byron and Percy before she saw them and stopped to catch an excited breath. When she heard what they said, she paused a moment longer.
“How’s your jaguar holding up?” Byron asked his brother.
She knew it was Byron. Despite them being identical twins, there were slight differences in their voices. Byron’s was the smoother voice. Percy’s had the odd touch of sexy gravel.
“My dumb cat,” replied Percy on a near growl, “was up all night long. He keeps pawing at me, trying to get to her.”
Her? As the burn of jealousy sizzled in Suzan’s gut, she gnawed on her bottom lip in a futile attempt to quell it. Maybe Percy had a girlfriend and he was dying to see her. Maybe he couldn’t wait to escape the cabin so he could meet up with this woman and, well, let his jaguar loose.
“Yeah,” Byron said. “My cat’s in agony, too. I think my ribs are black and blue inside, it pounds them so much.”
Oh, great. She wasn’t sure why this information astounded her. Of course men like them would have girlfriends. Hell, they might have mates. She hadn’t bothered to ask, had she? She’d already heard the mate bond was a powerful thing, that it would drive any shifter to distraction, both sexually and emotionally. Why had she been naïve enough to think these men might be single? She knew enough to know the good ones were always taken.
She’d been so stupid to think they had a bond. Bullshit. Clearly, her empathic tendencies had let her down for the first time.
“I can’t believe how quickly my jag … recognized Suzi,” said Percy.
Oh. Last she heard, she was the only Suzi around here.
Byron grunted. “I feel the same way. I’ve never felt like this. My head’s not working properly. Fuck, I couldn’t even hold a bowl of eggs without losing it. Percy, we need to discuss things. Seriously.”
“I know.”
“If Suzi is the one we’re meant to share, we can’t afford to make any wrong moves, especially with Crane in the picture. We need to support her and not let our egos get in the way.”
“Agreed.”
If Suzi is the one we’re meant to share…
Holy hell.

Predator’s Trinity is available at:

“TEN WAYS WRITING ROMANCE HAS CHANGED MY LIFE”
Thanks so much to Elodie for hosting me on my blog tour for Predator’s Trinity, Gemini Island Shifters 6. I’m thrilled to be here.
I’ve written a few books now and each one finds me more and more philosophical about my career path. I can’t help wondering what I’ve learned along the way, and thought it might be fun to analyze exactly how writing romance has changed my life.
1 – EVERY PERSON I MEET IS A POTENTIAL CHARACTER. YEAH, THIS MEANS YOU. Now, don’t get me wrong. I never base my characters on actual people with whom I have a relationship. In my opinion, that would be wrong. However, I have received a lot of inspiration from people I’ve met here and there, or folks I’ve seen in passing. So that drunk woman who spilled her beer in front of me on a Las Vegas street? You are in one of my books.
2 – I AM AN ADDICT.  Not in a bad-for-my-health sense. Rather,  I am a romance writing addict. I can barely go a day without writing, and when I must, I start to get the shakes.
3 – MY SONS ROLL THEIR EYES AT ME A LOT MORE NOW. Firstly, they’re teens, so rolling eyes is a given. Secondly, their mother writes romance. They’ve seen a lot of bare chests on my book covers. *cue eye rolls from sons*
4 – MY COFFEE CONSUMPTION HAS INCREASED. Coffee and writing. They’re like John and Yoko. Peaches and cream. Peaches and Herb…you get the idea.
5 – PEOPLE THINK I’M A SEX EXPERT. Allow me to offer this disclaimer: I am not, at least not any more so than any other mother of two children. But because I write sexy romance, people sometimes give me “the eye.” That’s the look that says, “She writes romance? Her husband is a lucky man…”
6 – I TALK TO MYSELF A LOT MORE. Notice how I said “more?” I’ve always talked to myself but now I can’t seem to stop. When a piece of dialogue occurs to me, I try it out to see how it sounds. So if you ever meet me and I appear to be having two conversations at once, I am not a weirdo. Well, perhaps a bit of a weirdo…
7 – I’M ALWAYS SCRIBBLING IN NOTEBOOKS. After all, you never know when a hot story idea will hit. I carry notebooks with me almost everywhere I go. So, if we’re ever having coffee and I get a queer look in my eye, and stop everything to record a few lines, you’ll know an idea just occurred.
8 – I FORGET TO EAT. When I’m writing, I have to remind myself to eat and drink. It’s amazing I don’t faint. On the plus side, my snug pants now fit.
9 – PEOPLE STOP ME IN THE STREETS TO TELL ME HOW MUCH THEY LOVE MY WORK.  Oh, hang on…that’s not me. That’s Jackie Collins.
10 – I’M CONSTANTLY DREAMING. It’s true. My head is always in the clouds, dreaming up new romances. Only for the first time in my life, someone is paying me to do it.

Writing with pen and paper she brings things to life, and hell hath no fury like an antagonist scorned. Now she's on the run from Kyrin, an evil demon warlord who surfaced from one of her first manuscripts. And the only way to get rid of him is to destroy the manuscript.
Enter JG1988, her long-time online friend. He knows nothing of the curse nor the magick Emma possesses. His only wish is to finally meet her in person and take their relationship to the next level. He reveals a surprise of his own when he shows up at Emma's door as international recording artist Jake Griffin.
Destroying the manuscript will not only get rid of Kyrin, but also end her relationship with Jake. But keeping secrets from him may end up doing just that. In order to survive they'll resort to love, lies, and a little Gypsy magick.

Jake lead her into the adjoining room where a baby grand piano sat in the corner.
Turning the piano bench sideways, he sat back and motioned for her to sit in front of him. His arms slid alongside her shoulders as he reached out for the ivory bars, and he tightened his legs against her outer thighs. The heat radiating off him surrounded Emma like a blanket of safety. She snuggled up against his chest as his fingers tickled the keys.
Succumbing to the enchanting melody, her eyes fell closed. His chest pressed against her back, rising and falling as he sang out the verses he wrote just for her, simply titled, Emma's Song. The words took her breath away how he spoke so lovingly of her through song. Each refrain more passion filled than the one before, pouring his heart out with each note. The emotions welling up inside confused her, as she let herself become entranced by his baritone voice. Fear and happiness pooled in her eyes, releasing in tears that slid over her cheeks.
They met for the first time tonight in person yet it felt like they had known each other all their lives. Their electronic relationship manifesting into something real and tangible excited her, but also scared her to death.
The keys stopped dancing, and the room held a silence marred only by the heaving of Jake's breath. Reopening her eyes, Emma turned her head toward him. His fingertips pressed against her jaw line, guiding her head as he leaned in. Their lips met with a cautious tenderness. She swung her body around on the seat, raising her hands to encompass his neck. He pulled her closer, parting her lips as he swept his tongue over hers. An innate ache pulsed through her, taking over her self-control. His very touch tingled every nerve along the way.
She slipped her fingers through the back of his wavy hair, massaging his head in rhythm with their exploratory kisses. His breathing grew heavier, as he cradled her in his arms. A startling mixture of sharp chords rang out through the air as her back landed against the keys.
Soft laughter danced through their kiss as Jake picked her up by the hips off the bench and placed her on top of the baby grand. Her chest heaved in succession with the thumping of her heart. He stared at her with such intent she'd never seen. His intense eyes hypnotized her, holding her gaze.
“I've pictured this a thousand times, but nothing compares to the actual taste of your lips,” he whispered as he laid her back, brushing the chestnut locks of hair from her face. Lush lips caressed her neck, kissing the delicate skin down the plunging neckline of her dress.
Words made no sense. They circulated in her head, jumbled by the emotions coursing through her. Her body ached for him to take her completely as his hands caressed the length of her body, exploring every inch of her, memorizing every curve.
She dreamed about this moment. He wanted her as much as she wanted him. Her head screamed no, she'd only hurt him. But her heart shouted louder as she let her fingers ride up the length of his forearms, pressing against the hard muscle.
“As breathtaking as you look sprawled across my piano, I have a better idea,” he whispered.
Pulling her to him, he slid her off the piano. She wrapped her arms and legs around him as he carried her to the sofa, laying her beneath him. Carefully, he slid the silken dress above her hips, exposing her stomach where he decorated her skin with the warmth of his tongue and lips. A shiver climbed her spine releasing itself in a vocal aching of want and need.
