Businessman Will has hoped to meet musician Josh for so long, he’s astonished and elated when Josh finally notices and pursues him at one of the band’s gigs.
After a heady night of love, Josh is devastated when Will turns out to be a millionaire. He’s not a hustler. He couldn’t take and he couldn’t compete. He retreats into his music.
Will is sure they could have something special and tries to prove his love for Josh in the only way he knows how. Trouble is—it’s the wrong way.
Josh is shocked to discover he can’t forget Will.
They want each other. Their chemistry is scorching.
But Josh is running in the opposite direction as Will longs to love him.
Can love triumph?

Read a teaser:

Josh saw Will at one end of the bar and his heart leapt. Flutters started up in his stomach and he took a deep breath trying to steady himself. The encounter had rocked him to the core. He’d never in his wildest dreams expected to feel the way he did about a man whose name he still didn’t know. I want to, though. I want to know all about him. I want him in my life, and from the way he responded, he wants me bad. That’s great. I need it.
He watched the play of emotions cross Will’s face as he approached and stood close.
“Hi. I’m Josh Winters and you are…?” He grinned mischievously.
“Will—Will Trenton.” Will’s eyes held warmth, affection, and desire.
A spark of recognition lit in Josh’s mind. “That’s a familiar name, but I wouldn’t have been able to put a face to it. Are you famous or something?” He gestured to the bartender.
“A beer thanks—and for you?” He gave Will a tender look designed to tell the guy he liked him a lot.
“The same but let me … let me get them.”
Josh shook his head. “We have a tab.”
He saw a look of worry flit through Will’s eyes.
“It’s really okay, Will.” Josh moved even closer to Will. The toe of one boot touched the toe of Will’s. He gazed into Will’s eyes. Time slowed for Josh. This man was even more attractive close up with his handsome face lit by the bar’s sparkling white downlights. He took in the shade of stubble and wanted to bite Will’s chin. He ached to grab Will and thrust his tongue between those perfect lips. He recalled the way Will’s thick hair had felt as he grasped a handful. Softness filled his stomach. He didn’t know if this was love, but it sure was tenderness.

Bad boy #romance on the blog with a #coverreveal from Harley Wilde and Changeling Press

Grease Monkey: A Bad Boy Romance
By Harley Wylde
Coming October 14th from Changeling Press

Once he had a taste of her passion, he knew he’d never let her go.
GWEN
I’ve always been daddy’s little girl, or so everyone thinks, but what I’ve really wanted is to break free of my gilded cage. All anyone ever sees is some rich girl who gets what she wants, but that isn’t me. I hate my life and I’d give anything to experience true passion, even if it was just once. I’m a twenty-year-old virgin, and I have no doubt that daddy dearest is going to sell me to the highest bidder. Where’s a hero when you need one?
LANCE
Women have always come easy to me, but there’s never been one that tempted me so much as the debutante stepping out of the silver Mercedes. One look at those gorgeous legs and all I can think about is having them wrapped around me while I make her scream my name. One way or another, she’s going to be mine.

WARNING: If you love sexy bearded men who talk dirty, be prepared to have your kindle melted. This is a highly erotic story with a case of insta-love.

About the Author
Short. Erotic. Sweet.
Harley’s other half would probably say those words describe her, but they also describe her books. When Harley is writing, her motto is the hotter the better. Off the charts sex, commanding men, and the women who can’t deny them. If you want men who talk dirty, are sexy as hell, and take what they want, then you’ve come to the right place.
When Harley isn’t writing, she’s thinking up naughty things to do to her husband, drinking copious amounts of Starbucks, and reading. She loves to read and devours a book a day, sometimes more.

My (HK Carlton) contribution to the Antho is entitled In the Flesh. Here's the Summary: Working undercover, nothing is ever as it seems… Assigned the unenviable task of taking down the untouchable Travino crime family, undercover ATF Agent Kate Benson and her veteran partner Mike Pennington are thrown into the seedy underworld of organized crime. Kate is asked to draw on her past experience as a dancer and infiltrate one of Travino’s skin clubs, In the Flesh. Posing as Vivienne, Kate meets exotic dancer Carly. From the moment they first dance together, she can’t seem to keep her mind or her greedy hands off the dynamic dancer. Together they sizzle on stage and off. She soon realizes she’s falling for Carly but knows from past experience that beginning a relationship built on half-truths is a recipe for failure. As Kate attempts to straddle the line between doing her job and being as honest as she can be with Carly, while still maintaining her cover, Kate and Mike are caught snooping around the club after hours by none other than the mob boss himself. And Kate knows there’s not a two-step in the world that can save them now.

Here's a sneak peek... In the Flesh - H K Carlton

“Bring on Carly,” one guy shouted, inciting the horde into a steady chant. “Carly. Carly.” “My God.” Kate rolled her eyes. “Could they drag this out any more?” “I believe this is called fever pitch, baby.” The entire place plunged into darkness. A hush fell over the audience. Several seconds ticked by before the spotlight hit center stage. In the circular glow stood a woman with her back to the crowd, dressed in a navy croptop and high-cut leather shorts, barely covering her shapely bottom. Thigh-high black boots hugged long beautiful legs, spread wide in a provocative stance. Shrill whistles and lewd comments ensued, but Kate hardly noticed. A low hum of excitement began in her stomach. An obscure warble pulsed through the sound system. The dancer rolled her shoulder to the weird rhythm. It was a strange song. The beat seemed off for the kind of bump-and-grind expected. With an impressive one-eighty, Carly faced the crowd, dressed as a cop. What Kate had mistaken for a crop-top was, in fact, a standard blue, beat cop’s dress shirt, tied at the waist, giving a tantalizing view of her belly. Pinned to one breast pocket was a shiny gold badge. On her head, an official-looking cap. Dark-lensed, gold-rimmed aviators topped off the look. Oh, yeah, there was a twinge. Another round of catcalls faded when the beat of the music tripled, fast and loud. It pounded in Kate’s chest. In an exaggerated runway walk, Carly strutted the long catwalk splitting either side of the audience. A set of handcuffs swayed at her waist. She had a rockin’ body. A dancer’s body. Strong and muscular in all the right places, not bulky or angular. She removed the sunglasses, tucking them at her ample cleavage, again diverting Kate’s attention to the swell of breasts pushed up in the vee of the shirt. After inventorying her lovely assets, Kate zeroed in on her face. At that moment, Kate realized she’d met this gorgeous woman before. Several times. But always in another capacity. She was the sexy-as-fuck woman from the office. Body and brains. Awesome investigative work, Kate, she berated. Granted, she always seemed to have a different hair color and style, along with slightly altered makeup. A true chameleon, an asset in this sort of work. Carly looked down at her and winked before making her way back to the main stage. Kate’s gaze went straight to her shapely ass, following the long line of her dynamic legs.

I enjoy writing in many different genres. I write where the muse takes me and make no apologies for it. By now, it’s quite safe to say I will never pick just one genre and stick to it. There are just too many possibilities and stories left to tell. Today time-travel, tomorrow sweet historical romance—the next release might be, down and dirty erotica or ménage. I hope you’ll join me for the ride. Variety is creativity’s playground—It’s where you’ll find me.

Herald’s Heart Blurb

Royal herald, Sir Talon Quereste imagined that one day he would settle on a quiet little estate, marry a gently bred damsel, and raise a flock of children. The wife of his daydreams is a woman who could enhance his standing with his peers. She is certainly not an overly adventurous, impulsive, argumentative woman of dubious background who threatens everything he values then endangers his heart.
When her family is murdered, Lady Larkin Rosham lost more than everyone she loved—she lost her name, her identity and her voice. She’s finally recovered her ability to speak, but no one believes her claim to be Lady Larkin. She is determined to regain her name and her heritage. However, but Sir Talon Quereste guards the way to the proof she needs. She must discover how to get past him without risking her heart.

Herald’s Heart Excerpt

Larkin climbed the stairs to the second floor. She was weary to the bone, but at least she no longer smelled like a midden. She looked longingly at the solar. The bed there was soft and warm, and she dearly wished to sleep in comfort. But Sir Talon the singer occupied that bed. He might welcome her, but she would not welcome the consequences of joining him. Especially not if it involved meetings and greetings like those he’d sung about. That cursed song had tortured her thoughts all afternoon. She’d tried every trick she knew to escape the bawdy verses and met with failure at each attempt.
She shook her head and told herself firmly to get about finding a place to sleep undisturbed when a shout of laughter from the solar stopped her. There was a small chamber, directly across from the solar that was not too filthy. It held a cot with ticking, and she’d gotten linens and blankets from the laundress. Tomorrow she would scour the room from top to bottom. For tonight ‘twas enough to have clean linens, a warm blanket, and privacy. No skin-tingling, toe-curling, off-key voice would disturb her rest. She’d not allow it.
“Arrh, you’ve no need to be sharp with me. I am beset with feminine invasions of my chamber. First that red-haired nymph steals into my bath. Now you, Cat, steal into my bed.”
Anger carried Larkin through the solar door before she had time to think things through. “You wretched man. You knew I was here.”
He dropped his jaw, as if her words made no sense. “I beg pardon?”
“All the time you sang that horrid song, you knew I listened.”
His lips turned up. He stepped between her and her view of the bed’s occupant then pulled the bed curtain closed.
She wanted to strike the grin from his face. “And then you stood up, while I watched. You knew I watched. Did you enjoy it? Did it please you to flaunt your nakedness like any bawd?”
“I think it more to the point to ask if you enjoyed it?”
“Y. . . You . . . you . . . know I could not.”
“Why?”
“’Tis unseemly.”
“You could have left,” he said blandly.
“With you to see me, and all the world to know I was in the room when you bathed?”
“If you shout any louder ‘twill be known all the same.”
“You wished to insult me.” She reined in her voice.
“Nay, I do not insult women.” His tone became hard. “’Tis not uncommon for serving women to assist nobles when bathing.”
“It is if they are . . .” aware she was about to reveal that she too had been naked, Larkin stopped.
“Yes? If they are what?” he invited her to finish.
Larkin opened her mouth to speak, then shut it. What could she say? If they are naked in the same room with you, as I was. She couldn’t, wouldn’t say that.

Read an excerpt from My Servant, My Lover

Sebastian left the villa to hunt as soon as he was dressed, trying to avoid Nicolette after the prior night’s catastrophe. Peering into the window of the panificio at the Piazza della Citta his neck hair pricked, alerting him to the presence another Vampire. Spinning around, he found no one there.
Moving on, he located the evening’s dinner selection and guided his meal to a secluded niche. Sebastian entranced the young man then bit in, savoring the taste of a delicate local wine. Once again, his internal Vampire alert system went off. However, this time the Vampire made its appearance—standing there, eyeing Sebastian while he dined. He sealed his prey’s wounds, compelled him to forget everything, and sent him on his way.
Buonasera, Sebastian. Ben fatto,” the vampire said with a thick Italian accent.
Buonasera. I’m sorry but do I know you?” Sebastian asked.
“No, you don’t. But I know of you. You were Isabel’s amante, no?” Not feeling at ease with the gentleman’s inquisition, Sebastian’s temperature rose. “I don’t wish to speak of my past. Who are you and what do you want?”
Mie scuse, I mean you no harm. My name is Lorenzo. Lorenzo Moretti.”
“Well, Lorenzo Moretti, how can I help you?”
Lorenzo licked his lips. “Well, my young Vampire, you have what I’m looking for. Follow me.” He turned, walking away.
Sebastian’s curiosity piqued, so he decided to follow as instructed.
Lorenzo led him to a home not far from the Piazza and invited him in. “I have a palate pleasing Chianti. Would you care for a glass?”
“Yes, grazie.”
Lorenzo poured them both a glass, handing Sebastian his before gesturing for him to take a seat on the sofa. They drank and chatted, and the more Lorenzo talked, the more enthralled Sebastian became with the other Vampire’s his olive complexion, wavy expresso mane, and tantalizing green eyes. The tall, regal creature was seducing him, arousing him like no other man had ever done before.
For the love of God, what’s wrong with me? Sebastian thought. He’s a man.
