Tingle Tuesday with author Lindsay Paige and a special preview of her next release

Tingle Tuesday and author Lindsay Paige has brought along a preview of her next book. Don't Panic

Samantha Branson is having severe anxiety attacks. Her heart beats unusually fast, her breath quickens and her hands sweat. Every detail screams in her head that she is the center of unwanted attention. Everyone can hear her thoughts, her heart and her breathing. The silence of the classroom is so loud that focus is impossible.

After an attack lands her in the wrong bathroom, Sam meets Eli who offers to provide help. Faced with the return of her possessive ex-boyfriend and the blossoming of a new romance, Sam must find the strength inside herself to face her anxieties head on.

Excerpt

“Remind me again why I'm freezing my ass off here?” I say, crossing my arms in hopes that it will render extra heat.

Eli begins to take off his outer layer of clothing. “Have you ever seen those people strip down in their bathing suits for polar plunges?” His jacket and sweatshirt are tossed onto the sand.

“No way in hell, Eli,” I say, knowing exactly where this is going. He removes his undershirt and his pants. It's thirty-three degrees out and Eli's wearing nothing but boxers. God, he's so hot. My mind changes gears as Eli steps towards me.

“We're just going for a little swim.”

“No! No way. Not going to do it.”

He takes my arms, uncrosses them, and wraps them around his neck. He leaves my arms dangling off his shoulders and grabs my hips, pulling me towards him. His finger lands softly along my jaw as he gently pushes to tilt my head to the side. In-between kisses along my neck, he speaks.
“Please, Samantha? It'll be fun. I promise.”

Don't Panic will be available in January so look out for it.

Tingle Tuesday with guest author Trish Dawson and Trish is here to give us a fright

Tingle Tuesday is here to excite, delight or give you a fright.

Welcome to Trish Dawson who has brought along her book 'Dying to Remember', to give us a fright.

Trish was born and mostly raised in San Diego, California where she lives now with her family and pets. She's been writing short stories and poetry since high school after an obsession with Stephen King's 'The Stand'. After over fifteen years of crazy dreams and an overactive imagination, Trish began her first book 'I Hope You Find Me' in December of 2011. When Trish isn't writing, she's homeschooling her amazing daughter and mildly autistic son, reading whatever she can get her hands on, or enjoying the Southern California sun. As a strict Vegetarian, Trish holds a special place in her heart for animal rights and dashes into the backyard weekly to rescue lizards and mice from her mini-lab/cocker spaniel mixed dog, Zoey...who is always getting into some sort of trouble.

EXCERPT from Dying to Remember
"Let go!" she screams.
This has gone from a pleasant swing ride to an abusive ex-boyfriend so fast that I'm not sure how to respond at first. But then my instincts and my training kick in.
Use your nails, use your elbows, use your feet…use whatever you can to get away from him!
She forces an elbow into his side, causing him to lose his breath and also loosen his grip on her hair, but he still has his arm around her the neck.
Nails; scratch his face!
Seconds later a scream pierces through the forest around us, and he finally let's go of Jess. Stumbling backwards with his hands covering his bloody face, he trips on the wall he was just recently sitting on, and topples over it backwards. Jess is panting, and has one of her slender hands at her neck where the boy was holding onto her. No doubt she'll have a bruise there tomorrow. The bastard!
Woohoo, girl! You did it! Now let's get the heck out of here before he gets up!
But he's not moving on the other side of the wall, or cursing, as I was expecting. And Jess notices this too. She takes a tentative step toward the wall against my better judgment. I mean, come on, Jess! Have you not seen even ONE scary movie? He's going to pop up at any second, so the further away you get, the less likely he will KILL you!
I'm holding my breath as best as I can considering I can't really breathe while I'm inside Jess's mind, and I know she's not breathing either as she places her dusky-pink manicured hands on the top of the wall and peeks over the side.
The boy is lying awkwardly on his back, with his feet resting straight up against the layered rock wall. His arms are extended away from him like he's about to do a snow angel in the grass and he's staring, unblinking, up at the sky. One of his eyes is badly scratched and bleeding, but it's not the small amount of blood on his face that has me wanting to puke out my stomach lining; it's his neck. It's bent in such a way that his head is awkwardly parallel with his right shoulder.
Oh, sweet Jesus. We just killed a man.

Tingle Tuesday's hot little excerpt comes to you from author Tara Wood

Decker's eyes came up to stare blankly at her as she nodded her acknowledgment to Frank and walked confidently past them to the elevator a few feet away. He charged up behind her and jammed the up button hard with his finger. The doors opened and he grabbed her arm and pushed her inside.
She twisted in his grasp, but he managed to grab both of her hands and pin them behind her. He elbowed the button for the third floor and maneuvered quickly to trap her against the back wall of the elevator.
“Get off of me,” she hissed, glaring up at him.
He could feel the rapid rise and fall of her breasts beneath his chest with every breath she took. Her lips parted slightly at his roughness and their lush fullness was almost enough to distract him. They touched from chest to thigh and the contact started a slow burn in his body.
“What in the hell was that? Who are you?” he insisted.
“Get. Off. Of. Me.”
“The blades?”
“I'm special,” she sneered. “They're treated.”
“Bullshit.” Decker frowned and tightened his grip, causing her to gasp.
The soft, seductive sound did it. Blood rushed to his groin and desire knifed through him. Her upturned mouth was plump and inviting and her body was heaven against his. She was breathing in little shallow gasps that timed perfectly with the pound of the pulse in his ears. Decker felt her nipples tighten through the fabric of her T-shirt and he resisted the urge to groan. Her lashes fluttered for a moment and he was drawn inexorably lower to her lips. He wanted to kiss her. Kiss her good.

Tingle, tingle, Tuesday with this lovely excerpt from guest author Miranda Stork sent to excite and delight us

Hi Miranda,  thank you for bringing along this excerpt to Tingle Tuesday

About the book: Erin

Erin is the werewolf Queen of Athol Castle. She has no memories of the events of a few months ago, where she believed herself to be a psychologist, and met the enigmatic and charming Conner...
Filtiarn has taken over Conner’s body once more, and is relishing being in control. Cruel and sensual, he decides to work on a plan...to take over humanity. He begins a war...of werewolves against humans. But unknown to him, Conner is fighting against him within his own body, to set things right, and to bring Erin back from her own darkness.

 Excerpt:

Sighing heavily, Erin plonked herself down on the bed she had been laid on just a few hours before, swinging her legs out in front her. Conner smiled, and came to sit next to her, winding his arm across her shoulders.
“What’s wrong?”
Erin leaned into his warm body, closing her eyes for a second, and wrapping her arms around him. “I’m just…tired. It’s a lot to take in, you know? One minute I have this normal life…and then you find out that that was all a lie, and your real life is so incredibly complicated. I just wish I had something to hang on to that wasn’t complicated.”
Putting his hand under her chin, Conner lifted her face to his. “You have me. I’ll always love you, even as Filtiarn, I loved you. That will never be complicated, and that will never change.” Erin’s lips curved into a smile as he gently planted a kiss on them. “Do you remember the first time I gave in to you when you were at Forest Hall? I couldn’t keep up the pretence the whole time; it was killing me seeing you and not being able to touch you.”
Erin blushed, lowering her gaze. “You mean in the shower?”
Conner grinned broadly, making his face look even more sexy. “Yes, in the shower. You smelled so amazing…”
Swallowing, Erin lowered her head, pulling her chin away from his hand, so that he couldn’t see her grinning shyly in return.
Conner looked at her soft hair for a few minutes, teasing himself with the memory of burying his face in that soft, sweet-smelling hair, the touch of her smooth skin next to his, her eyes melting in pleasure…
He gently but firmly lifted her head up again, so that he could see into those stunning blue eyes. Erin was smiling, but a deep rosy blush had covered her cheeks, making her look even more beautiful to Conner. He leant down, pressing his lips against hers. She didn’t resist, and put her hand on his shoulder, to get closer to him. Reading her signals, he placed his other hand behind her head, pulling her deeper into their kiss, threading his fingers through her silky hair. His body began to stir, but he forced himself to be slow and careful, easing her into this. He growled low in his throat, a primal, raw sound, thrusting his tongue into her mouth, licking her lip gently.
The sound made her moan a little, as she let her tongue meet his. The sound made his groin ache, and his breathing began to go faster. His instincts were taking over, telling him to pin her down and rip her clothes off, but he held back, instead gently tracing her collarbone with the pad of his thumb. She shivered a little at the touch, placing her hands on his chest, clawing slightly, as if she too, wanted him stripped off.
