Decker's eyes came up to stare blankly at her as she nodded her
acknowledgment to Frank and walked confidently past them to the elevator a few
feet away. He charged up behind her and jammed the up button hard with his
finger. The doors opened and he grabbed her arm and pushed her inside.
She twisted in his grasp, but he managed to grab both of her hands and
pin them behind her. He elbowed the button for the third floor and maneuvered
quickly to trap her against the back wall of the elevator.
“Get off of me,” she hissed, glaring up at him.
He could feel the rapid rise and fall of her breasts beneath his chest
with every breath she took. Her lips parted slightly at his roughness and their
lush fullness was almost enough to distract him. They touched from chest to
thigh and the contact started a slow burn in his body.
“What in the hell was that? Who are you?” he insisted.
“Get. Off. Of. Me.”
“The blades?”
“I'm special,” she sneered. “They're treated.”
“Bullshit.” Decker frowned and tightened his grip, causing her to gasp.
The soft, seductive sound did it. Blood rushed to his
groin and desire knifed through him. Her upturned mouth was plump and inviting
and her body was heaven against his. She was breathing in little shallow gasps
that timed perfectly with the pound of the pulse in his ears. Decker felt her
nipples tighten through the fabric of her T-shirt and he resisted the urge to
groan. Her lashes fluttered for a moment and he was drawn inexorably lower to
