In the two short years since I began publishing
Romance stories, I have seen my historical-romance westerns soar to #1 on
Amazon, have been nominated for a 2012 RONE award for my novella Tudor Rubato,
which has made the finals as of this publication, and have expanded my audience
to include books published by Secret Cravings Publishing.

The adventure continues…

Are you working on another book right now?
Always!
I'm always writing, working on something! I have two series I am developing.
Both are romances, one an erotic romance series.
What do you enjoy most about writing?
Being
able to take characters and story ideas from my head and bring them alive on
paper.
What do you like the least?
The
times I have writers block!
Would you like to see any of your books as movies?
No,
I'm good. That bug hasn't bitten me yet. I'm afraid the transition from book to
screen would ruin the characters or story I've created.
What things do you like to do to relax?
I
love to read of course, knitting is also a great way I found to relax. I can
conjure up story ideas while doing it. I also love sailing and anything
equestrian.
Do you have another job as well as writing?
No,
I'm fortunate that writing is my full time job.
If you could have one super power in your existence, what
would it be?
Invisibility.
There are so many situations that arise in the world I'd love to be a fly on
the way hearing all that goes on.
If money were not an object, where would you most like to
live?
London,
either St. John's Wood or Kensington areas.
What kind of car would you have if money was no object?
Austin

What’s your favorite food?
Ah,
that's a hard one! It depends on my mood!
Favorite color?
Purple
- it's majestic.
Can you think of a song or piece of music that could be your
theme tune?
Oh,
there are so many to choose from! It would depend on my mood! The theme to
'Skyfall' comes to mind, 'Can't Buy Me Love',

be a help?

Is there anything you would like to say to your readers?

would you like to see me write in the future?
Can you share one of your favorite parts of one of the
book?
“No way! No f-in’ way in f-in’ hell am I going to partake if that is
what they want me to do. No way!”
Max lay on his back, his muscular forearm now over his eyes while he
listened to my rant. He’d known all along that my reaction would be exactly
what he was hearing. I was also sure it was his job to convince me otherwise.
“Max, are you listening to me?” I pushed his arm away from his face.
“There is no way I’m going to be part of some of the kinky crap you’re
suggesting.”
“Well love, if you refuse the agency will be forced to place an
active, experienced female agent with me.” I could feel his glare as he watched
my reaction closely.
“So what you’re telling me is…if I don’t learn this lifestyle and go
undercover with you where we’ll partake in this crap, you’ll go undercover
anyway. Only you’ll go with a female agent who is already trained in this
stuff. Did I leave anything out?” I sat abruptly upright on the bed and swung
my legs over the side. I was pissed. Angry over the entire situation.
“No, you didn’t leave anything out, and yes that’s exactly what’s
going to happen if you decide you’d rather not participate.”
I nervously paced the bedroom. My head was spinning and had a good
idea what may come next.
“Tell me something Max. You obviously trained for this during the time
you were away. I can’t imagine you having to re-learn how to handle weapons for
six weeks. So you want to tell me about this part of your training or should I
just leave it up to my imagination?”
“Ashleigh, you don’t know anything about this lifestyle so don’t try
and imagine what is entailed. And yes, I trained with an experienced female as
well as an experienced Dom.”
I felt sure he neglected to mention the fact that he had dabbled in
the lifestyle prior to meeting me. I had done my research and it had been long
before we ever met. It had evidently been a way for him to decompress after his
missions with the SAS.
